  • Publication number: 20160078530
Abstract: A method of validating card numbers is described. A card number input by a user using a terminal device is obtained. It is judged whether an organization identity obtained from the card number is an identity of an organization that issues cards. A determination is made that the card number is invalid if the organization identity obtained from the card number is not an identity of an organization that issues cards.

  • Publication number: 20160026961
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments provide a system that processes data. During operation, the system obtains a set of data associated with social selling practices for a sales entity on a social network. Next, the system calculates, on a processor, a set of metrics from the data, wherein the metrics are associated with creating a professional brand, finding prospects, engaging with insights, and building relationships. The system then aggregates the metrics into a social selling index (SSI) score for the sales entity. Finally, the system provides the SSI score for use in managing the social selling practices of the sales entity.

  • Publication number: 20150278836
Abstract: A method and system to determine member profiles for off-line targeting is described. An example system comprises an access module to access a member profile in the on-line social network system, a category score module, a member segmentation module, and a communications module. The category score module may be configured to generate a definition score for the member profile based on phrases that are present in the member profile, generate a propensity score for the member profile based on behavior data of a member represented by the member profile, and combine the definition score and the propensity score to generate a subscriber score for the member profile. The member segmentation module may be configured to compare the subscriber score of the member profile to a threshold value. The communications module may be configured to selectively send a communication to the member based on a result of the comparing.

  • Publication number: 20150256558
Abstract: A safety device, a server and a server safety realizing method. The safety device includes: a communication module used to be butted with an external communication interface provided by the server and realize information interaction with the server through the interface; a firmware module used to be pre-configured with at least one safety control policy; and a processing module used to perform at least one of the safety control strategies so as to realize the information safety protection of the server in real time when the server detects the safety device. A high speed safety device integrating the safety control policy, for example, a security chip card, is utilized to protect the safety of the server, realize the safe plug and play function of the server, and realize to process an external server as an independence network and also completely isolate the external server from an internal gateway.

  • Publication number: 20150186892
Abstract: A server with processor(s) and memory receives a transaction request from a first device to perform a transaction with an account and determines a security level for the transaction. When the security level satisfies predetermined criterion, the server: instructs the first device to suspend the transaction and to display a first interface indicating the suspended transaction; and sends a confirmation request, to a second device associated with the account, for voice verification of the transaction. The server receives voice verification information from the second device that includes audio data provided by a user of the second device and determines whether the voice verification information matches stored account verification data corresponding to the account. When there is a match, the server: processes the transaction; and instructs the first device to complete the transaction and to replace display of the first interface with a second interface indicating the completed transaction.

  • Publication number: 20150065452
Abstract: An anti-fatigue composition consisting of 20(S)-protopanoxadiol and lycium barbarum polysaccharide. Experiments prove that the composition exhibits a significant anti-fatigue effect. In comparison with the effect attained by the single use of lycium barbarum polysaccharide or 20(S)-protopanoxadiol, the combined use of 20(S)-protopanoxadiol and lycium barbarum polysaccharide exerts an obvious synergistic effect.

  • Publication number: 20130209913
Abstract: In one aspect, a method of forming an electrode for an electrochemical device is disclosed. In one embodiment, the method includes the steps of mixing at least a first amount of a catalyst and a second amount of an ionomer or uncharged polymer to form a solution and delivering the solution into a metallic needle having a needle tip. The method further includes the steps of applying a voltage between the needle tip and a collector substrate positioned at a distance from the needle tip, and extruding the solution from the needle tip at a flow rate such as to generate electrospun fibers and deposit the generated fibers on the collector substrate to form a mat with a porous network of fibers. Each fiber in the porous network of the mat has distributed particles of the catalyst. The method also includes the step of pressing the mat onto a membrane.
