  • Patent number: 9995323
Abstract: A drive unit of a fluid-actuated linear drive includes a piston rod, an annular drive piston seated coaxially on the piston rod and a buffer sleeve which is likewise seated coaxially on the piston rod. These components are secured to one another by one and the same common welded joint. Furthermore, a method for the manufacture of such a drive unit and a fluid-actuated linear drive equipped with such a drive unit is proposed.

  • Patent number: 5220321
Abstract: Process for signalling malfunction protection in decentralised traffic-light installations having a signalling malfunction protection (SSP) and evaluation assembly (AWP) in a node control unit (KS) and having a plurality of PLS units (PLS modules M1, M2, . . . ) which each have peripheral lamp switches and sensors and a data transceiver, which together form an LMP assembly, as well as transformers and rectifiers for associated signal generators and groups of signal generators (SG) on the respective traffic-light poles (SGM1, SGM2, . . . ). The node control unit (KS) is connected to the PLS modules (M1, M2, . . . ) with a power and a data line (EDL). In addition to the customary signalling malfunction protection, the operativeness of the individual PLS modules and LMP assemblies (M1, M2, . . . ), respectively, is cyclically tested irrespective of the momentary signalling status. With each complete telegram cycle (TZ1, TZ2, . . .

  • Patent number: 4451085
Abstract: A reclining article of furniture for sitting, especially an office chair, with the article including a seat portion and a back portion articulated thereto. The seat portion and back portion are respectively connected to an underframe. The seat portion is supported in a forward zone and the back portion is supported by a supporting lever articulated to the underframe and articulated to the back portion at hip level of a user. To obtain a support which is also effective in the zone of the lumbodorsal vertebrae and to provide a close contact of the supporting surfaces with the users body. The contact is uniform in the rest position approximately from a back of the knees up to the shoulder blades. The seat and back merge through an arcuate intermediate section which is flexible so that the arc becomes wider. A connecting line extending between two points of articulation of the supporting lever in a basic position of the chair is inclined at an angle of between 0.degree. and 25.degree. and, preferably, between 15.
