  • Publication number: 20180328053
Abstract: A support head and a ceiling support. The support head in particular has a plate-shaped design and has multiple guide tabs. The guide tabs are arranged or provided in such a way that a formwork element is secured on the support head so as to prevent shifting, preferably at various positions. The support head has widely opened first guide tabs that are situated opposite from less widely opened guide tabs. This asymmetry of the support head allows the support head to be situated close to a wall corner, while at the same time the formwork element can be easily fastened.

  • Patent number: 10077038
Abstract: In a method for detecting an incorrect installation of brake lines of a brake system for a multi-axle motor vehicle, a tandem brake master cylinder, connected by the brake lines to primary and secondary circuits of the brake system, is actuated to completely fill a primary reservoir of a primary circuit and a secondary reservoir of a secondary circuit of the brake system. The primary and secondary circuits are associated to wheel brakes of a first and second axles, respectively, and provide brake fluid volumes, of which the primary circuit is greater. Outlet valves of the primary and secondary circuits are then closed, and actuation of the tandem brake master cylinder is still maintained to thereby decelerate a revolving wheel of the first axle and determine a braking behavior. A measuring device indicates whether the brake lines are correctly or incorrectly installed as a function of the braking behavior.

  • Patent number: 9926432
Abstract: An antioxidant combined with UHMWPE prior to subjecting the UHMWPE to crosslinking irradiation. In one exemplary embodiment, the antioxidant is tocopherol. After the antioxidant is combined with the UHMWPE, the resulting blend may be formed into slabs, bar stock, and/or incorporated into a substrate, such as a metal, for example. The resulting product may then be subjected to crosslinking irradiation. In one exemplary embodiment, the UHMWPE blend is preheated prior to subjecting the same to crosslinking irradiation. Once irradiated, the UHMWPE blended product may be machined, packaged, and sterilized in accordance with conventional techniques.

  • Publication number: 20170335074
Abstract: The present invention generally provides implantable articles and methods of forming implantable articles from a crosslinked ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (“UHMWPE”) blend stabilized with Vitamin E. The crosslinked UHMWPE blend may be prepared by combining the UHMWPE material and vitamin E prior to irradiating the UHMWPE blend with electron beam radiation at a sufficient radiation dose rate to induce crosslinking.

  • Patent number: 9573195
Abstract: A quick-change system for a tool holder comprises a machine-side receiving fixture having a hollow-cylindrical extension on which a switching sleeve is displaceably held. Automatic angular alignment of the tool holder upon introduction into the hollow-cylindrical extension of the receiving fixture is enabled by an alignment of the points of the star-shaped end face on the cylindrical holding portion of the tool holder, upon impact against a first set of three balls angularly spaced 120° apart. Once the tool holder has aligned itself in this way, then the first balls make their way into the longitudinal grooves of the cylindrical holding portion, whereby a rotationally fixed coupling is achieved. Upon the further insertion into the hollow-cylindrical extension, an axial securement finally occurs when a second set of three balls are displaced radially inward into associated depressions on the cylindrical holding portion.
