  • Patent number: 8449325
Abstract: A compression connector for connecting to a coaxial cable is provided. The compression connector is provided in a first state for fitting onto an end of the cable, after which it may be compressed to a second state, thereby joining the connector to the cable to make a coaxial cable assembly. The connector is comprised of a tubular connector body and a compression cap structured to slidably engage the second end of the tubular body. The connector is further internally configured with means for collapsing the first exposed corrugation of the outer conductor of the coaxial cable in the axial direction when the compression cap is compressed onto the tubular connector body.

  • Patent number: 7972158
Abstract: An RF plug connector having a plug head on which a sliding sleeve is seated which can be rotated, can be moved axially and clasps a radially elastic collet (4) in such a manner that the sliding sleeve compresses the collet radially in the coupled state, the design can be considerably simplified in comparison to that of known plug connectors of this generic type, to be precise by the collet (4) being arranged such that it cannot be moved axially on the plug head. For connection to a coupler with an external thread, the collet (4) has internal profiling on the plug side, in particular an internal thread with a pitch which is not the same as that of the external thread of the coupler.

  • Patent number: 7535317
Abstract: A coaxial characteristic-impedance transformer for dividing RF power on a first terminal onto n second terminals situated in the same radial plane by multi-stage serial transformation via ?/4 lines is provided with a short overall size, where the ?/4 lines between the first connection and the second connections are at least partly disposed to surround each other concentrically.

  • Patent number: 7357671
Abstract: A coaxial plug-type connector including an approximately hollow-cylindrical plug-head with an outside thread, and a cable-side conical annular face as a contact face for an outer conductor of a coaxial cable, and a threaded sleeve with an inside thread as a cable clamping component, does not require a special contact sleeve. The plug-type connector has a short length since the threaded sleeve includes an interior conical annular face for clamping an end-face edge region of the outer conductor of the coaxial cable against the conical annular face of the plug-head. In order that tool engagement faces on the plug-head may be dispensed with, the plug-head includes on the plugging-in side an interior profile for accommodating in a form-locked manner an assembly tool. The plug-head is configured such that assembly of an inner plug conductor and a plug dielectric can be performed from the plugging-in side.

  • Publication number: 20060113101
Abstract: A coaxial cable structure includes an outer cable conductor, and an angle connector, for example a 90° elbow connector, disposed on one cable end. The elbow connector is implemented by encapsulating the one cable end with thermoplastic material and including a metal sleeve which is placed in contact with the outer cable conductor to define an outer conductor of the elbow connector.

  • Patent number: 7008264
Abstract: A connector for coaxial cables having an annularly corrugated outside conductor includes a connector head which includes a conical annular surface on the cable side which establishes contact on the inner side of the boundary face region of the outside conductor of the cable. A sleeve can be screwed onto the connector head. A radially elastic clamping ring is housed in a first inside groove in the sleeve, to which a second inside groove of smaller diameter is adjacent on the cable side. The transition between the two inside grooves is configured in such a way that the clamping ring is radially compressed during screwing of the sleeve onto the connector head and tensions the boundary face region of the outside conductor of the cable against the conical annular surface of the connector head.

  • Patent number: 6976872
Abstract: In a coaxial connector, especially an integrally pre-mounted connector, the recess (7a) receiving the end of the coaxial cable can be sealed in the connector head (7) relative to the cable with the help of an integrated perimeter seal (10). For this purpose the perimeter seal (10) is received in a form-fitting manner in a pressure member (9) which establishes the electric connection between the outer cable conductor (3) and the conductor head (7) and connects the same in a manner so as to be secure against withdrawal. The perimeter seal comprises at least one and preferably several ring-like lips (10a, 10b, 10c) which project radially inwardly, deform when the pressure member (9) is slid onto the cable in the direction of its end (3a) and, after the clamping of the pressure member, stand again in the same radial plane as in the unloaded state.

  • Patent number: 6664101
Abstract: CO2 is separated from waste gases by known technical methods and stored in underground cavities. By additions to the CO2, according to the invention, of H2 or NH3, methanogenic bacteria, bacteria substrate, catalysators and/or inhibitors the CO2 is reduced during the underground storage to CH4. The storage is possible in aquifer, natural gas reservoirs or oil and/or gas generating rock formations. Due to the equal volumes of CO2 and CH4 the process is a closed cycle and of constant pressure. Natural gas becomes a renewable energy.
