  • Patent number: 6379021
Abstract: A decorative light tree with an elongate pipe retained in a three-dimensional spiral shape is disclosed. One end of the elongate pipe is supported on a top end of a central post, and the other end is spirally suspended around the central post. A number of ropes extend at a predetermined angle with respect to the central post and angularly spaced from each other about the central post, binding on the pipe thereby securely retaining the pipe in a three-dimensional spiral shape. A plurality of lightening members are electrically connected in series and arranged inside the hollow inner tube of the elongate pipe in a manner equally spaced from each other. Further, a number of clips clip on the pipe and then the ropes binding on the clips. Each of the ropes has a downward extended section for being fixed in a location by a fixing member.

  • Patent number: 6340233
Abstract: A decorative tube light string including a power line section, at least one branch member, and a number of extending tube light branches is disclosed. The branch member has an input end removeably connected to one end of the power line section and a plurality of output ends. The branch member is provided with a pair of conductive wires spaced from each other and extending from the input end to each output end. Each of the tube light branches has a first end removeably connected to one of the output ends of the branch member and a second end mounted with an end cap. Each of the tube light branches includes a pair of conductive wires spaced from each other and parallelly extending from the first end to the second end thereof and a plurality of light emitting elements electrically connected between the conductive wires, thereby forming a tube light string with multiple tube light branches. The branch member is further provided with a central through hole adapted to be hanged on a supporting article.

  • Patent number: 6254250
Abstract: A decorative light tree set for supporting light strings thereon is disclosed. The decorative light tree set includes a rigid central post fixed to and upstanding on ground and a plurality of primary ropes extending from a top end of the central post at a predetermined inclining angle with lower ends thereof fixed to the ground by fasteners. A plurality of light strings horizontally extend between each primary rope and the central post. A number of secondary ropes vertically extend from each primary rope and interconnect the light strings forming a net-like structure whereby the light strings are securely maintained in position between the primary ropes and the central post. Electrical wires having a plug extend along the central post and are electrically connected to the light strings for supplying electrical power energy to the light strings.

  • Patent number: 6158700
Abstract: A supporting frame of light string includes a pair of arch bars spaced from each other and a plurality of cross bars extending between the arch bars to fix the arch bars together. A light string is attached to the bars by means of wire clips and lamp clips. Each wire clip includes a resilient C-shaped member through which the wires extend. The wire clip defines a side opening for forcibly fitting the wire clip over one of the bars thereby securely attaching the wires to the bar. Preferably, an axially-extending groove is defined in the wire clip for accommodating the wires. Each lamp clip includes a resilient C-shaped member defining an axially-extending opening for fitting the lamp clip over one of the bars. An axially-extending groove is defined in a side wall of the lamp clip for accommodating a first section of the wires and a circumferentially-extending slit is defined in the side wall of the wire clip through which a second section of the wires extends.
