  • Publication number: 20200346119
Abstract: Players of tournament games require a network for them to play with one another remotely. But, in order for play to occur simultaneously, players must be informed that a game is ongoing or underway. Similarly, if one player wishes another player to join, the one player must invite the other, by in part, informing the other player of the time and location of play as well as information specific to the game the one player is participating in or forming. Accordingly, a communication means is required to bring players together. A communication means for remote players does not exist for players of real-world games where players use physical instruments where game data is based at least in part on sensor-acquired data.

  • Publication number: 20080076580
Abstract: A Smart Internet Sports Apparatus protocol which can communicate with the Internet allowing a plurality of data to be captured processed and analyzed. Each Internet sports apparatus device creates it own proprietary unique data profile, and can exchange its profile with another Internet sports apparatus protocol or other proprietary digital devices. The Internet sports apparatus protocol automatically allows as many participants including those in sports to adjust to the number of active players who have been granted permission to join. The original system design talked about using radio frequency protocol and left open the door for other wireless protocols. Now with this new invention, other wireless protocols can be used as a communication bridge allowing a broader use of the technologies. The Smart Internet Sports Apparatus protocols now used Zigbee, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Wi-Max, and Ultra Wide Band (UWB). Future uses can expand to cellular protocol.

  • Patent number: 4608998
Abstract: A knee alignment device employing a plurality of sensors which are positioned about various areas of a user's knee. The sensors are coupled to circuitry including a microprocessor which has stored therein optimum values indicating correct knee motion during an exercise. These values are compared with the actual values being generated by a user in performing the same exercise, and if the actual values exceed those stored in the microprocessor, the user is warned of a dangerous condition which is indicative in informing him to modify the exercise being performed.
