  • Publication number: 20100288790
Abstract: A dispensing appliance for a double cartridge comprises a housing for receiving multiple components and a rotatable portion having a thread, the two parts cooperating in such a manner that by rotating the rotatable portion, a multiple plunger acting upon the pistons in the housing is continuously displaceable relative to the housing in the dispensing direction. To this end, the housing is configured to comprise at least two adjacent storage containers, and the thrust force of the rotatable portion is directly transmitted to a multiple plunger. The rotatable portion may have an internal thread and the double plunger a feed flange with a corresponding external thread, in order to actuate the latter in the axial direction upon rotation of the rotatable portion. This arrangement allows dispensing even highly viscous materials with little manual force under high pressure in a precisely metered manner.

  • Publication number: 20100163579
Abstract: The dispensing assembly with a syringe comprises at least one container and accessories such as a mixer or a closure cap. The fastening area of the syringe and the fastening areas of the accessories are configured such that the accessories are capable to be slipped-on the syringe and removable therefrom without a twisting motion by applying pressure to their fastening area, retaining means on one part cooperating with retaining means on the other part. To this end, the fastening area of the syringe is provided on opposed lateral portions to which pressure is not intended to be applied with at least a first pair of retaining elements, and these retaining elements cooperate with a corresponding first pair of retaining elements on the accessories. In further developments, the fastening area may comprise two pairs of retaining means and the containers of the syringe may be attachable to one another. Such dispensing assemblies are more cost-effective to produce and simpler to handle.

  • Publication number: 20090127289
Abstract: A two-component syringe is provided with a valve assembly having a common inlet/outlet, the valve assembly being designed to selectively close the containers of the syringe or allow a liquid from the outside to be aspirated into one of the containers via the common inlet/outlet or connect the two containers to each other or allow a mixture to be dispensed through the common inlet/outlet. This valve assembly is composed of a valve body provided with a sealing disk having channels that are arranged such that the connections are established or interrupted when the valve body is rotated. The design of such a valve assembly is simple and cost-efficient, and it allows aspirating liquids into a container and transferring them to another container that holds a powder as well as dispensing multicomponent liquids or pastes efficiently and with minimum pressure and volume losses.
