  • Patent number: 11481863
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for image processing of spherical content via hardware acceleration components. In one embodiment, an EAC image is subdivided into facets via existing software addressing and written into the memory buffers (normally used for rectilinear cubemaps) in a graphics processing unit (GPU). The EAC facets may be translated, rotated, and/or mirrored so as to align with the expected three-dimensional (3D) coordinate space. The GPU may use existing hardware accelerator logic, parallelization, and/or addressing logic to greatly improve 3D image processing effects (such as a multi-band blend using Gaussian blurs.

  • Patent number: 11447191
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to an aerodynamic panel apparatus mountable to a truck cab. A panel apparatus includes a fixed panel, a moveable panel extender arranged rearward of the fixed panel, and a hinge mechanism. When aligned, the fixed panel and moveable panel extender guide an air flow past side walls of a cab and a trailer for improved aerodynamics and enhanced vehicle performance. The hinge mechanism enables pivotal movement of the moveable panel extender outboard from a closed position. The pivotal movement provides back of cab accessibility, while outboard movement avoids interference with items located in the back of cab area, and provides easy access to a handle bar arranged along an inner surface of the fixed panel. The moveable panel extender includes a resiliently deformable material that may be temporarily deformed during trailer articulation but returned to its original shape thereafter.

  • Patent number: 11434657
Abstract: The tent frame fitting cover is a durable, self-restraining structure serving to smooth the harsh upper surfaces of the tent frame joint and protect the fabric of the tent canopy. After snapping on, the cover holds itself in place by friction fit on the tent frame and encapsulates hardware, including pins and bails, and tubing. The cover includes a central body and a plurality of projections. The projections extend in various directions from the tent fitting, tracking with the tent frame member components. Many cover embodiments are provided to accommodate many tent junction variations. By heat pressing, the projections are initially formed into arms that wrap and secure the cover structure to the tent tubing. The thermo-formed material retains the initial shape in a flexible manner to allow pressing installation and prying removal of the cover from the tent. The cover increases tent installation efficiency and extends canopy life.

  • Publication number: 20220276627
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for enabling coexistence of Information Technology (IT) systems and Operational Technology (OT) systems, where advanced computing functionality realized by the IT systems can be applied to legacy applications and incumbent hardware technologies resident in the OT systems. A distributed control node (DCN) implemented between the IT and OT systems may comprise a microcontroller system partitioned into two processor clusters. Microservices associated with the IT systems are provisioned to a high performance processor cluster, and legacy applications running bare metal associated with the OT systems are provisioned to a real-time processor cluster. Partitioning of the microcontroller system allows for interoperability between the microservices and the legacy applications.

  • Publication number: 20220270080
Abstract: The present disclosure includes methods for authenticating items in part of a tokenization workflow. In embodiments, the method includes receiving a photograph of, and information relating to, an item, and generating a virtual representation of the item. The item may be authenticated by making an authentication request via a portal to subject-matter authentication experts, wherein the portal displays the virtual representation of the item in the portal. An authentication report may be received from the experts, and a non-fungible digital token having a unique token identifier may be generated. The non-fungible token may be cryptographically linked to the virtual representation of the item on a cryptographic ledger and ownership data of the non-fungible token is updated to associate an account of an owner of the item with the digital token on the cryptographic ledger.

  • Publication number: 20220261297
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein are related to implementing a near-real-time stream processing system using the same distributed file system as a batch processing system. A data container and partition files are generated according to a partition window that specifies a time range that controls when data is to be included in the partition files. The data container is scanned to determine if the partition files are within a partition lifetime window that specifies a time range that controls how long the partition files are active for processing. For each partition file within the lifetime window, processing tasks are created based on an amount of data included in the partition files. The data in the partition files is accessed and the processing tasks are performed. Information about the partition files is recorded in a configuration data store.

  • Publication number: 20220251960
Abstract: A turbine for a turbo-machine is proposed in which, at a gas inlet for a turbine wheel, vanes extend from a nozzle ring though slots in a shroud. The nozzle ring and shroud are relatively rotatable about a rotational axis of the turbine by at least 0.1 degrees. In use, the nozzle ring and shroud are relatively rotated to bring one side of the vane into close contact with one surface of the slot, to inhibit leakage of gas between the vane and the slot surface. For this purpose the respective surfaces of the nozzle and slot can be configured to closely conform to each other. If there is differential thermal expansion of the shroud and nozzle ring, the nozzle ring and shroud can relatively rotate, to withdraw the vane from the edge of the slot to relieve the pressure between them.
