  • Publication number: 20230261229
Abstract: A fuel cell system has a fuel cell stack including a plurality of fuel cells and an anode injector system, and a controller programmed. The controller, responsive to an amplitude of cyclic changes in voltage of at least some of the fuel cells exceeding a threshold, a frequency of the cyclic changes being within a predetermined range of a frequency associated with the anode injector system, and the voltage being less than a predetermined value, disables the fuel cell stack.

  • Publication number: 20230261223
Abstract: Systems and methods of managing the voltage of fuel cells during no-load or low load events are disclosed. The systems may employ one or more valves such as an inlet and outlet valve for metering the fuel (e.g., hydrogen) and/or oxidant (e.g., oxygen) provided to the fuel cell. The voltage or voltage rise may be limited by starving the fuel cell of, for example, oxygen. A controller may be employed for controlling the one or more valves during a no-load or low load event such as start-up, idling, or stopping.

  • Patent number: 11711420
Abstract: A provider network hosting multiple network-based services that implement different resources for a client may provide automated management of resource attributes across the multiple network-based services. A client may send a request to a resource attribute service implemented at the provider network to add a resource attribute to different resources implemented among different network-based services that satisfy resource metadata selection criteria. In response to receiving the request, resource metadata maintained for the different resources implemented among the different network-based resources, which may include one or more previously applied resource attributes, may be evaluated to identify those resources that satisfy the resource metadata selection criteria. For those resources that satisfy the resource metadata selection criteria, the resource attribute may be added to the resource metadata maintained for the different resources.

  • Patent number: 11709923
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses for location-based automated authentication are disclosed. A system comprises a mobile device, a sensor and a backend platform. The sensor and the backend platform are in network communication. The mobile device is operable to continuously transmit Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) signals comprising encrypted transitory identifiers. The sensor is operable to receive a BLE signal from the mobile device when the mobile device is within a predetermined range, and communicate over a network connection the encrypted transitory identifier comprised in the BLE signal to the backend platform. The backend platform is operable to extract a unique identifier and a changing encrypted identifier from the received encrypted transitory identifier, generate a changing encrypted identifier, and validate a user identification by comparing the generated changing encrypted identifier and the extracted changing encrypted identifier.

  • Patent number: 11695569
Abstract: A request to add tags (e.g., labels, key-value pairs, or metadata) to resources can be digitally signed by the entity making the request, such that the source can be verified and an authorization determination made for each tag. For a request involving multiple services (or entities) that can each add tags, any tag added by a service can be included in the request and digitally signed by that service. Each service processing the request can also digitally sign the request before forwarding, so that each service signs a version of the request, which includes elements signed by other services earlier in the request chain. When the request is received to a tagging service, the service ensures that every tag was digitally signed by the appropriate authorized entity or service, and validates the signatures to ensure that no data was modified or omitted, before adding the tags to the designated resource(s).

  • Patent number: 11580295
Abstract: In implementations of systems for generating layouts of text objects, a computing device implements a layout system to receive input data describing a sequence of text and the layout system represents the sequence of the text as a number of text objects. A candidate layout for the text objects is identified from layout data describing a plurality of layouts, the candidate layout identified at least partially based on the number of the text objects. The layout system generates a binary tree having leaf nodes and at least one parent node representing the candidate layout. An arrangement of the text objects in the candidate layout is generated for display in a user interface based on the binary tree.
