  • Patent number: 10972288
Abstract: A request to add tags (e.g., labels, key-value pairs, or metadata) to resources can be digitally signed by the entity making the request, such that the source can be verified and an authorization determination made for each tag. For a request involving multiple services (or entities) that can each add tags, any tag added by a service can be included in the request and digitally signed by that service. Each service processing the request can also digitally sign the request before forwarding, so that each service signs a version of the request, which includes elements signed by other services earlier in the request chain. When the request is received to a tagging service, the service ensures that every tag was digitally signed by the appropriate authorized entity or service, and validates the signatures to ensure that no data was modified or omitted, before adding the tags to the designated resource(s).

  • Publication number: 20210041698
Abstract: A head-mounted display (HMD) has an enhanced optical arrangement that permits high-resolution imaging in a compact device. The HMD system includes an optical arrangement; a first image panel, wherein the optical arrangement directs image light from the first image panel along a first optical pathway having a first length; and a second image panel arranged orthogonal to the first image panel, wherein the optical arrangement directs image light from the second image panel along a second optical pathway different from the first optical pathway having a second length. The first length is equal to the second length, and the optical arrangement is configured such that light from the first image panel and the second image panel are emitted from the HMD system in a combined fashion in a first eye direction.

  • Patent number: 10917240
Abstract: A cryptographic key management service receives a request, associated with a principal, to use a cryptographic key to perform a cryptographic operation. In response to the request, the service determines whether a rate limit specific to the principal is associated with the cryptographic key. If the rate limit is associated with the cryptographic key, the service generates a response to the request that conforms to the rate limit. The service provides the response in response to the request.

  • Patent number: 10909978
Abstract: Technologies for secure storage of utterances are disclosed. A computing device captures audio of a human making a verbal utterance. The utterance is provided to a speech-to-text (STT) service that translates the utterance to text. The STT service can also identify various speaker-specific attributes in the utterance. The text and attributes are provided to a text-to-speech (TTS) service that creates speech from the text and a subset of the attributes. The speech is stored in a data store that is less secure than that required for storing the original utterance. The original utterance can then be discarded. The STT service can also translate the speech generated by the TTS service to text. The text generated by the STT service from the speech and the text generated by the STT service from the original utterance are then compared. If the text does not match, the original utterance can be retained.

Abstract: Systems and methods for location-based automated authentication are disclosed. A system comprises a mobile device, a sensor and a backend platform. The sensor and the backend platform are in network communication. The mobile device is operable to continuously transmit Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) signals comprising encrypted transitory identifiers. The sensor is operable to receive a BLE signal from the mobile device when the mobile device is within a predetermined range, and communicate over a network connection the encrypted transitory identifier comprised in the BLE signal to the backend platform. The backend platform is operable to extract a unique identifier and a changing encrypted identifier from the received encrypted transitory identifier, generate a changing encrypted identifier, and validate a user identification by comparing the generated changing encrypted identifier and the extracted changing encrypted identifier.

  • Publication number: 20200391420
Abstract: Containers and methods for making and using the same are disclosed. The containers include internal fluoropolymer surfaces, optionally comprising fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP), within the storage compartments. Such fluoropolymer surfaces may be incorporated into the containers via in-mold labeling, for example. Optionally, the containers are useful for storing cannabis extracts that are typically sticky. Low surface energy of the robust fluoropolymer surfaces in such containers help to prevent adherence of the sticky products to the container surfaces.

  • Publication number: 20200321028
Abstract: A processing device provides, on a mobile device, a storyline content user interface (UI) for adding video content to a storyline, the storyline content UI having a first area including a media player, a second area including visual representations of video clips of one or more storylines, and a third area including a first UI element to record video content. In response to a user activation of the first UI element, the processing device initiates recording of a new video clip, determines that a duration of the new video clip has reached a predetermined threshold, creates a visual representation of the new video clip, associates the new video clip that reached the predetermined threshold with an additional storyline, and adds the visual representation of the new video clip to the second area. In response to a user selection of the visual representation of the new video clip in the second area of the storyline content UI, the processing device causes the new video clip to be associated with the storyline.
