  • Publication number: 20220342452
Abstract: A cover system for a housing, such as a computing device housing, includes a channel defined by a housing and including each of a first opening and a second opening. The channel includes a first portion and a second portion separated by an aperture. During use, a protrusion of a cover is inserted through the aperture from the first portion of the channel into the second portion of the channel. The tip and aperture are sized such that the aperture retains the tip in the second portion of the channel after insertion. In the event the tip breaks off of the protrusion within the channel, each of the second portion and the second opening are sized and shaped to permit rapid removal of the tip from within the channel.

  • Publication number: 20200119645
Abstract: A device for the amplification of inductive current is disclosed. The device consists of a poly capacitor to smooth the electric flow of a circuit, a dielectric capacitor that interacts with an inductive coil, and a third trace, or conductive pathway to capture extraneous heat, distortion and electromotive flux present in the circuit. The dielectric capacitor is sized and configured to alter the normal cycles of the inductive coil to boost the magnetic flux in the coil. The third trace picks up this boosted flux to amplify the current of the inductor.

  • Publication number: 20090142154
Abstract: Improvements in trailer insulation and partitioning system are disclosed. The trailer insulation and partitioning includes one or more roll-up partitions or bulkheads that alter the amount of space in a trailer that is required to be refrigerated. The roll-up partitioning system includes protection mechanisms such as ramps and guides that prevent damage from impact with forklift, pallets and other cargo movement equipment. The roll-up partitions are constructed from a series of horizontal sections that are independently hinged together. A counterweight or spring makes opening or closing the partition easier. The tracks for the partitions are installed in a new trailer or can be retrofit into an existing trailer.

  • Publication number: 20080015784
Abstract: A process that assists with the identification of potential hydrocarbon deposits that includes performing a structural interpretation of a three-dimensional seismic volume, transforming the three-dimensional seismic volume into a stratal-slice volume, performing a stratigraphic interpretation of the stratal-slice volume which includes the extracting of bounding surfaces and faults and transforming the stratal-slice volume into the spatial domain. As illustrated in FIGS. 24a, b and c, an exemplary seismic volume before Domain Transformation is presented in FIG. 24a, interpreted horizons and faults used in the transformation are presented in FIG. 24b, and the Domain Transformed stratal-slice volume is presented in FIG. 24c. The input seismic volume in FIG. 24a has deformations associated with syn- and post-depositional faulting. The output Domain Transformed volume (FIG. 24c) is substantially free of deformations.

  • Publication number: 20070201209
Abstract: A connection apparatus and associated method. The apparatus comprises a space transformer assembly and a leveling apparatus. The space transformer is adapted to electrically connect a testing apparatus to a semiconductor device through an interface board. The leveling apparatus is adapted to apply varying amounts of force to a plurality of sections of the interface substrate. The varying amounts of force are adapted to generate pressure on the plurality of sections of the interface substrate and form electrical connections between contacts on the interface substrate and all contacts on the semiconductor device.

  • Patent number: 7030400
Abstract: An apparatus and method for web inspection utilize simultaneous capturing of reflected and transmitted light images for real-time merging of same. The reflected light and transmitted light image capturing systems are registered with each other in terms of the down-web and cross-web field being imaged. To allow for the simultaneous acquisition of reflected and transmitted light images, the imaged portion of the web is an unsupported span, and the web is tensioned to prevent sagging. The reflected light and transmitted light image capturing systems each include multiple cameras registered with each other in terms of down-web and cross-web imaging field, and the cameras for the transmitted light image capturing are aligned directly with the light source, which outputs light that is incident on the web at an angle.

  • Patent number: RE38248
Abstract: A welded seam of an imaging belt comprises a surface roughness. To reduce the surface roughness, the welded seam is treated by compressing a portion of the belt comprising the welded seam and adjacent belt portions and, while compressing, heating the welded seam to a heating temperature near but less than the glass transition temperature of the imaging layer of the belt, then cooling the welded seam to a cooling temperature. The compressing continues while the heating and cooling steps are repeated until the surface roughness is determined to be satisfactory. The process then ceases.
