Abstract: A storage device uses non-volatile memory devices for caching. The storage device operates in a mode referred to herein as write-back mode. In write-back mode, a storage device responds to a request to write data by persistently writing the data to a cache in a non-volatile memory device and acknowledges to the requestor that the data is written persistently in the storage device. The acknowledgement is sent without necessarily having written the data that was requested to be written to primary storage. Instead, the data is written to primary storage later.

Abstract: An image based email system associates images with different electronic mail (email) senders. The email system receives email messages from different email senders and then looks through either website member profiles or user contacts for associated images. Any located image is displayed in a list of recent senders. This allows the email user to associate recently received email messages with particular sender images or photographs. The images can also be used in a list of favorite or most frequent email senders. Other features of the email system extract information from received email messages to better identify the email senders. These and other features of the email system provide more intuitive and easier to perform email operations.

Abstract: A consumable cartridge for a muzzle loading firearm having a consumable cartridge case composed of a consumable solid material is set forth. The cartridge case including a central internal cavity, the cartridge case having a closed first end and a second end open to the central internal cavity for receipt of granular, explosive powder within the central internal cavity of the cartridge case and a bullet is secured to the closed first end of the cartridge case. The cartridge case is shaped and dimensioned for positioning within a bore of a rifle along with the bullet.

Abstract: An incorrect filling prevention assembly (10), including a body locatable in a filling guide tube so as to define a passage through the body coaxial with the guide tube. The body mounts a closure member (32) selectively movable between a closed position preventing access through the passage and an open position allowing access therethrough. A plurality of release members (48) are movably connected to the body so as to in a rest condition extend inwardly from the body into the body passage, and also in the rest condition retain the closure member (32) in the closed position. The release members (48) are movable outwardly relative to the body upon location of an item of sufficient diameter in the body passage to engage against a plurality of the release members (48) to move same to a use condition, with the release members (48) in the use condition allowing opening of the closure member (32).

Abstract: An appliance is provided that includes a storage compartment comprising a first storage bin and a second storage bin configured to move relative to the storage compartment along a parallel path of movement, a first tab located on the first storage bin, and a second tab located within a perimeter of a surface of the second storage bin. The second tab is in a location that is configured to interact with the first tab at a point along the parallel path of movement. The second storage bin moves simultaneously with the first storage bin while the first tab interacts with the second tab. Either the first storage bin or the second storage bin can be placed in the storage compartment in at least a first orientation and a second orientation, where the second orientation disables the second storage bin from moving simultaneously with the first storage bin.

Abstract: A fluid composition for inflating a bag or bladder used in plugging earth drill or bore holes. The fluid composition comprises: a hydrocarbon gas or hydrocarbon gas blend; a carrier; and an emulsifier. In preferred embodiments the hydrocarbon gas comprises butane or propane; the carrier comprises water; and the emulsifier comprises a carbomer, such as a cross-linked polyacrylic polymer, and/or coconut diethanolamide. An aerosol dispenser may supply the fluid composition as foam to the bag.

Abstract: An automatic vehicle left or right turn signaling device utilizes a vehicle mount traffic lane detection sensor(s), the vehicle mount traffic lane detection sensor(s) in response to detecting traffic lane presence near proximity of a vehicle, the vehicle signaling device automatically activates the vehicle left or right turn signal lights to warn other vehicle drivers that the particular vehicle moving towards near proximity of a next traffic lane. The vehicle signaling device may be connected to a GPS navigation device. The navigation device based on given route information provides signals to vehicle mount traffic signaling device to automatically flash the vehicle left or right turn signal lights based on received GPS navigation given instructions prior to or during the driver making a left or right lane change, making a left or right turn, or a U turn.

Abstract: An apparatus for routing data packets includes a network interface, a memory, a general purpose processor and a flow classifier. The memory stores a flow structure. Every packet in one flow has identical values for a set of data fields in the packet. The memory stores instruction that cause the processor to receive missing flow data and to add the missing flow to the flow structure. The apparatus forwards a packet based on the flow. The flow classifier determines a particular flow and whether it is already stored in the flow structure. If not, then the classifier determines whether that flow has already been sent to the processor as missing data. If not, then the classifier stores into a different data structure data that indicates the flow has been sent to the processor but is not yet included in the flow data structure, and sends missing data to the processor.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a system includes a server that hosts webpages facilitating user interaction between multiple endpoints. The system monitors for a user input requesting initiation of a happy hour, and when the input is detected, modifies the webpages to alert users of the happy hour. The users are notified of which user initiated the happy hour, and are also notified that interaction incentives accumulate at an increased rate during the happy hour. The system also tracks user scorings that accumulate based on the user interaction, and enables certain website features based on these user scorings. The system also tracks ratings for user-uploaded objects and identifies top rated objects for displaying on webpages viewable by other users.

Abstract: Adapter rings for attaching automotive clutch assemblies to different types of flywheels are disclosed. A single adapter ring may be installed on different types of stock or aftermarket flywheels. In one embodiment, a multiple-disc clutch assembly may be mounted onto the adapter ring. The multiple-disc clutch unit may fit inside a stock bellhousing to enable the user to utilize the stock clutch release mechanism and simultaneously increase the holding power capability while maintaining light pedal effort. Aftermarket replacement OEM clutch units including the adapter ring may be used with higher horsepower engines in automotive vehicles with manual transmissions.

Abstract: An inflation valve is revealed. The inflation valve includes a longitudinal valve body, a valve member and an elastic member sleeved between the valve member and the longitudinal valve body. The longitudinal valve body includes an axially extending hole disposed therein, a projecting edge arranged on the axially extending hole and a round through hole disposed on a center of the projecting edge, and two alignment members having at least one projecting body and/or one concave slot. A round valve head is arranged on the front end of the valve member and alignment members corresponding to the alignment members of the longitudinal valve body disposed on an outer edge of the valve head. While being assembled, the valve head passes the through hole by alignment of the alignment members between the valve member and the longitudinal valve body and becomes staggered. Moreover, by the elastic member, the valve head presses and locks onto the round through hole to form a closed state.

The method includes providing a cover layer having a layer side and providing a base layer having first and second sides. The base layer includes a material hole that extends completely through the base layer between the first and second sides. The method also includes coupling the cover and base layers to each other along the first side and the layer side. The cover layer extends over at least a portion of the material hole. The method also includes providing a dielectric member within the material hole, wherein a core-holding channel exists between the dielectric member and the base layer. The core-holding channel extends circumferentially around the dielectric member and is configured to have a magnetic core therein.

Abstract: A stacked electrode includes an optical match layer, a transparent conductive layer, and a metal layer. A complex refractive index of the optical match layer is N1, and N1=n1?ik1, wherein n1 represents a refractive index of the optical match layer and k1 represents an extinction coefficient of the optical match layer. A complex refractive index of the transparent conductive layer is N2, and N2=n2?ik2, wherein n2 represents a refractive index of the transparent conductive layer, k2 represents an extinction coefficient of the transparent conductive layer, n1>n2, and k1<k2. The metal layer is disposed between the optical match layer and the transparent conductive layer. A photo-electric device having the above-mentioned stacked electrode is also provided.
