Abstract: A cache coherence manager, disposed in a multi-core microprocessor, includes a request unit, an intervention unit, a response unit and an interface unit. The request unit receives coherent requests and selectively issues speculative requests in response. The interface unit selectively forwards the speculative requests to a memory. The interface unit includes at least three tables. Each entry in the first table represents an index to the second table. Each entry in the second table represents an index to the third table. The entry in the first table is allocated when a response to an associated intervention message is stored in the first table but before the speculative request is received by the interface unit. The entry in the second table is allocated when the speculative request is stored in the interface unit. The entry in the third table is allocated when the speculative request is issued to the memory.

Abstract: A processing resource detects that a subscriber entity subscribes to at least a first content service provider and a second content service provider. The processing resource receives a first message indicating content available to the subscriber entity for selective retrieval from the first content service provider. The processing resource receives a second message indicating content available to the subscriber entity for selective retrieval from the second content service provider. Based on at least the first message and the second message, the processing resource produces a content guide to include at least first content available to the subscriber entity for retrieval from the first service provider and second content available to the subscriber entity for retrieval from the second service provider. Via display of the content guide, a respective subscriber is able to view content available from multiple service providers.

Abstract: Sound absorbing walls include a planar front panel element formed of an acoustically transmissive material and having a peripheral edge, a planar inner panel element formed of an acoustically absorbent material, having a peripheral edge, a front face abutting the front panel, and an opposed rear face, and a rigid frame having a panel portion overlaying the rear face of the inner panel element, and having a peripheral edge, and an edge portion forming a rim depending from the peripheral edge of the frame, and enclosing the peripheral edges of the front panel and inner panel. The frame may encapsulate the front panel and inner panel, except for an exposed front panel front surface. The rim may extend forward of the front panel. A sound wall may be constructed by connecting edge portions of one or more panels to spaced apart first and second ground-mounted vertical support columns.

Abstract: Methods for managing a return of a prepared medication are provided. In one aspect, a method includes receiving an identification of at least one returned medication delivered to a first location, and receiving an order for another medication. The method also includes determining whether the at least one returned medication is usable for completing the order of the other medication, and when the determination indicates that the at least one returned medication is usable for completing the order of the other medication, providing a notification indicating that the at least one returned medication is usable for completing the order of the other medication. Systems and machine-readable media are also provided.

Abstract: Systems for managing a retrieval of a prepared medication are provided. In one aspect, a system includes a memory that includes instructions, and one or more processors. The one or more processors is configured to execute the instructions to receive an identification of a plurality of unused medications and a current location of each of the plurality of unused medications, and determine an order in which to retrieve at least two of the plurality of unused medications and return the at least two of the plurality of unused medications to a return location. The one or more processors is also configured to execute the instructions to provide, for display, a listing of the at least two of the plurality of unused medications based on the order for retrieving the at least two of the plurality of unused medications. Methods and machine-readable media are also provided.

Abstract: A quick release buckle is revealed. The quick release buckle includes a male member, a female member and a pulling member. The male member consists of two symmetrical legs that can be deformed elastically and a U-shaped part disposed between the two legs. Two ends of one side of the U-shaped part with an opening are respectively connected to each of the two legs. The female member is inserted by and locked with the male member while the pulling member is connected to the U-shaped part of the male member. When users pull the pulling member out, two ends of the U-shaped part with the opening are deformed inward. Thus the two legs are further driven to be deformed inward. Therefore the male member is pulled out of the female member.

Abstract: Methods for managing preparation of a medication for a patient are provided. In one aspect, a method includes receiving information indicative of an order for medication for a patient from an electronic data feed, and determining whether the order for medication for the patient can be filled with a returned medication. The method also includes providing a notification to fill the order with the returned medication when the determination indicates the order can be filled with a returned medication, and providing a notification to fill the order by preparing the medication when the determination indicates a returned medication is not available to fill the order. Abstract: Methods for managing a delivery of prepared medications are provided. In one aspect, a method includes receiving first information includes a delivery deadline for a first medication, and receiving second information includes a preparation status of a second medication. The method also includes comparing the first information includes the delivery deadline for the first medication with the second information includes the preparation status of the second medication to determine whether the first medication should be indicated for delivery prior to completing preparation of the second medication, and providing a notification indicating when to deliver the first medication based on the determination. An outer hole is formed on a shell of the handle body near the handle end so as to be in communication with the opening. The insert is configured to be inserted into the opening. The insert includes an aperture and an inner hole. The aperture is configured to accommodate the support member mounted on a door. The inner hole is configured to be aligned with the outer hole and be in communication with the aperture. The insert includes a protrusion that protrudes into the aperture. The fastener is configured to be inserted through the outer hole and the inner hole and press the support member against the protrusion such that the protrusion extends into a neck portion of the support member.

Abstract: There is disclosed a process and apparatus for reading electrical current of electrodes on a microarray of electrodes. Those electrodes having binding events are detected by a difference in electrical current flow. Enzymes on targets catalyze the conversion of substrate to product, which is detectable by electrochemical reduction at each electrode on the microarray of electrodes. The apparatus has an integration circuit that provides a voltage output that is measured and recorded over time and used to calculate an average current flow. A potentiometer equalizes voltage at electrodes undergoing measurement compared to grounded electrodes.

Abstract: An assembly comprising a storage receptacle includes a front panel, a rear panel, a first side panel joining the front panel to the rear panel and a second side panel joining the front panel to the rear panel. The front panel, the rear panel and the first and second side panels define a storage space within the confines of the front panel, the rear panel and the first and second side panels. A divider is located within the storage space and extends between the front panel and the rear panel and divides the storage space into storage space sections. A spring operated mechanism engages the divider to selectively maintain the divider in place in the storage space and allows for the position of the divider to be adjusted between the first side panel and the second side panel, whereby the dimensions of the storage space sections can be adjusted.

Abstract: Techniques to automatically generate simulated information are described. A method comprises receiving, by a program builder component executed on a processor, a structured input file comprising one or more data libraries and one or more directive files to generate simulated data for a simulation database. The method further comprising producing, by the program builder component executed on the processor, a data generator program based on the structured input file, the data generator program arranged to generate the simulated data for the simulation database using multiple data generating sessions executed concurrently or sequentially. Abstract: The invention relates to a biodegradable, magnesium-containing bone screw for implanting into a patient body for use in medical applications, such as, orthopedic, craniofacial and cardiovascular surgery. The bone screw has a head, shaft and tip. The thickness of the head is greater than the thickness of conventional bone screws. The shaft includes both a non-threaded and a threaded portion. The tip is non-threaded and pointed, such as, conical in shape. The composition of the bone screws provide for improved biodegradability and biocompatibility, and the features of the structure of the bone screws facilitate guidance and placement during implantation as well as reduce the potential for mechanical failures.

Abstract: A system for component based aggregation of medication orders may include a processor and memory. The processor may receive display a queue that lists medication orders to be prepared by a healthcare professional, the medication orders indicating component medications that will be used to prepare the ordered medications. The processor may receive a selection of a first medication order listed in the queue, where the first medication order indicates a first component medication. The processor may determine a second medication order listed in the queue that indicates the first component medication. The processor may reorder the displayed queue such that the second medication order is listed adjacent to the first medication order. The processor may notify the healthcare professional of the second medication order, such as by displaying an indication of the second medication order separately from the queue.

Abstract: A rack-and-pinion mechanism includes a first rack and a second rack, a first pinion and a second pinion, and a timing bar. Each of the racks includes a first set of teeth provided longitudinally therealong. Each of the first pinion and the second pinion includes a second set of teeth provided circumferentially therearound. The first pinion and the second pinion are configured to rotate along the first rack and the second rack respectively through engagement of the second set of teeth with the first set of teeth. The timing bar includes a first end and a second end. The first end and the second end are configured to be coupled to the first pinion and the second pinion respectively so that the first and second pinions rotate as one. The first pinion is configured to be movable with respect to the timing bar along a longitudinal axis of the timing bar.

Abstract: A method for providing an alert to a person to unplug an electrical power cord of an electrical device or equipment includes an alarm device that is activated upon separation of a first portion from a second portion. The first and second portions of the alarm device are secured proximate opposite sides of a loop provided in the power cord. The first and second portions, when engaged, maintain a switch of an electrical circuit in an open position. If the equipment is moved prior to unplugging the power cord, the loop will be straightened, causing the first and second portions to separate. The switch closes, completing the electrical circuit and activating the alarm device. The alarm alerts the person to unplug the power cord. A first alternate method includes the alarm device as a part of newly manufactured equipment. A second alternate method includes a motion detector or sensor in the alarm device of the newly manufactured equipment.
