  • Publication number: 20150035876
Abstract: Independent color stretch is an improved method for “stretching” the color sequence utilized in color-sequential displays using switchable light sources, such as LED or Laser, to match the frame rate of the video source. It utilizes a stretch factor that is directly proportional to the sequence duration to simplify the calculation of stretch factors and allow them to be combined. Independent color stretch also provides independent stretch factors for each color and allows real-time adjustment of the duty cycle of each color.

  • Publication number: 20150036049
Abstract: The present disclosure pertains to a method for designing cascaded bit sequences for cascaded digital displays. The method avoids unwanted interactions between cascaded sequences in cascaded digital displays. By using sequences with a particular structure, cascaded sequences can be designed such that no sequence is affected by the others. The following rules must be followed in constructing the sequence. First, the display devices must be frame-locked, so that the timing relationship between the sequences is maintained throughout each frame. Second, for each display device, the ratio of bit plane weights must remain constant, regardless of the pixel data displayed on the other display device(s). Third, the amount of bit plane skew must remain constant, regardless of the pixel data displayed on the other display device(s). Fourth, bit plane phased leakage must be compensated for or avoided.

  • Patent number: 8719766
Abstract: A mechanism for identifying and adding files to a project manifest is discussed. A combination of techniques is used in order to identify the files that should be listed in a project manifest. The combined techniques include the programmatic examination of a storage location marked as associated with a project to identify project files. The identified files are automatically added to a project manifest. In one embodiment the identified files are subjected to filtering criteria before being added to the project manifest. In addition, embodiments of the present invention perform a static analysis of at least one file associated with the project to identify file dependencies. The identified files are also added to the project manifest. The integrated development environment (IDE) also provides a user interface enabling a user to manually add files to the project manifest.

  • Patent number: 8633153
Abstract: The present invention provides a means for increasing the serum half-life of a selected biologically active agent by utilizing transthyretin (TTR) as a fusion partner with a biologically active agent. Specifically, the present invention provides substantially homogenous preparations of TTR (or a TTR variant)-biologically active agent fusions and PEG-TTR (PEG-TTR variant)-biologically active agent fusions. As compared to the biologically active agent alone, the TTR-biologically active agent fusion and/or PEG-TTR-biologically active agent fusion has substantially increased serum half-life.
