  • Patent number: 11919552
Abstract: A train control system uses sensory inputs related to operational parameters of a train for automatically scoring or classifying particular train driving strategies implemented by a machine learning model for a particular train operating on a predefined route or route segment. The train control system includes one or more predefined rules related to one or more of a first set of the operational parameters, wherein each of the rules defines a Boolean, true or false classification based on whether a particular train driving strategy results in one or more of the first set of operational parameters complying with the rule. One or more comparative key performance indicators are related to one or more of a second set of operational parameters, and are used to rank the particular train driving strategy for the predefined route or route segment relative to a different train driving strategy for the same or comparable route or route segment.

  • Patent number: 11922526
Abstract: Aspects of distributed ledger technology are leveraged to verify subrogation settlements. In particular, two parties to a subrogation claim provide cryptographic hashes to a subrogation demand smart contract stored at an address on a blockchain. The subrogation demand smart contract determines that the parties have reached an agreement by determining that the cryptographic hashes match. A settlement amount from the subrogation claim may be appended to a set of settlement amounts to determine a net settlement amount to facilitate a single payment between the parties on a periodic basis, such as daily, to alleviate the need for the parties to send or receive a payment for each individual settlement amount.

Abstract: Generally discussed herein are devices, systems, and methods for contextual messaging in a conference. A method can include receiving, by a first user interface, data indicating content of a message, a recipient of the message, and a condition that, when satisfied during the conference, causes the message to be visually displayed during the audiovisual conference, while the conference is being held via an audiovisual conference application, monitoring user contextual data for whether the condition is satisfied, responsive to the condition being satisfied, augmenting audiovisual conference data from the audiovisual conference application to include the message resulting in augmented audiovisual data, and providing, to the recipient on a second user interface of the audiovisual conference application, a view of the augmented audiovisual data.

  • Patent number: 11895214
Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for user interaction and task completion using multiple devices. A set of devices may be used to perform a task, such that different devices may perform different steps of the task. A device management service may update state information at each device of the set, thereby enabling a user to interact with any of the computing devices to perform the task. A device management service may also automatically determine which device should be used by the user, based on task or step requirements, device characteristics, and device capabilities, among other examples. Thus, rather than being required to continue a task on the same device (even when the device is not well-suited for the current step or task), the user is provided with the option to use and, in some instances, is automatically transitioned to use, different devices within the set.

  • Publication number: 20230292705
Abstract: A system for examining an animal that includes a kiosk housing having an analysis zone. The system includes a persuasion delivery device in the analysis zone. The system includes a dispensing machine to dispense an animal attractant to the persuasion delivery device. The system includes a set of sensors located in the analysis zone to sense real-time data related to health of an animal. The set of sensors includes at least one sensor to sense within the analysis zone at least one biological parameter of the animal related to the health. A method is provided using the system that autonomously guides the animal to the analysis zone by a predisposition of the animal to hunt for an animal attractant so that biological parameters of the animal related to the health of the animal are sensed in a stress-free or reduced stress environment.
