  • Publication number: 20230292705
Abstract: A system for examining an animal that includes a kiosk housing having an analysis zone. The system includes a persuasion delivery device in the analysis zone. The system includes a dispensing machine to dispense an animal attractant to the persuasion delivery device. The system includes a set of sensors located in the analysis zone to sense real-time data related to health of an animal. The set of sensors includes at least one sensor to sense within the analysis zone at least one biological parameter of the animal related to the health. A method is provided using the system that autonomously guides the animal to the analysis zone by a predisposition of the animal to hunt for an animal attractant so that biological parameters of the animal related to the health of the animal are sensed in a stress-free or reduced stress environment.

  • Patent number: 11741437
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for scheduling a task of a user based on a cyber-physical-social (CPS) context of activities. The present disclosure is directed to increasing the efficiency of performing tasks by grouping tasks with the same or similar task CPS contexts so that they are performed in conjunction with one another. A stream of user activities is received that encompasses the CPS context, tasks are identified and classified based on a CPS context model. The CPS model is trained using CPS context and annotations for identified tasks as input to create classes of tasks. The classes of tasks from the model are used to group similar tasks. The present disclosure enables users to receive recommendations on clustering tasks with the same or similar contexts based on an online tool, a location, and collaborators to be performed together to improve productivity.

  • Publication number: 20230240533
Abstract: A system that includes at least one processor and a non-transitory, tangible memory device having programming instructions. When the instructions are executed by the at least one processor, the at least one processor receives from a set of sensors at least one biological parameter of an animal in a walk-in analysis zone to create real-time biological. The at least one processor analyzes the real-time biological data from the walk-in analysis zone and recommends animal feed nutrients based on the analyzed real-time biological data. The at least one processor communicates the recommended animal feed nutrients to at least one of: a mobile communication device; and a display device in proximity to the walk-in analysis zone.

  • Publication number: 20230240261
Abstract: An orientation indicator device that includes a band having an interior side, an exterior side, and a length to wrap around a neck of an animal. The orientation indicator device includes at least one fiducial marker attached to the band that is visible from the exterior side of the band to denote an orientation of the animal. The orientation indicator device includes a tag coupled to the band to hang by gravity from under the neck. The band is in the form of a collar with fasteners to fasten the collar around the neck. A system is also disclosed that includes a walk-in analysis zone. The orientation indicator device and a computer vision system, in the walk-in analysis zone, identify an orientation of an animal in the zone by capturing the orientation indicator device and dimensions of a body of the animal.

  • Publication number: 20230240258
Abstract: A system that includes a persuasion delivery device to deliver a persuasion to an animal to persuade the animal into a walk-in analysis zone for conducting an examination session. The system includes a set of sensors to sense in real-time at least one biological parameter to create real-time biological data. Each sensor has a sample collector in the walk-in analysis zone to capture a respective biological parameter. The system includes at least one processor to analyze the real-time biological data and at least one of: recommending animal feed nutrients based on the analyzed real-time biological data; identifying the at least one biological parameter on a user interface; and causing a feed making machine to make animal feed based on the recommended animal feed nutrients.

  • Patent number: 11673100
Abstract: A photodialysis device that can desalinate saline streams is described herein. The device can have a desalination rate that is significantly faster than current solar thermal desalination technology. Salt is removed from water by passing ionic current derived from sunlight through this water using dye-sensitized membranes. The device can serve as a distributed, low-cost technology that can efficiently and effectively desalinate low salinity sources of water, which is particularly useful for agriculture and drinking water applications.

  • Publication number: 20230108358
Abstract: A device includes a memory that stores a prefetching model. A control module receives a content page including one or more links each associated with selectable content and collects data associated with the content page. The collected data includes at least one of first data indicative of respective relationships between each of the links and a viewport of the device and second data indicative of characteristics of the viewport. The control module further assigns, using the prefetching model, respective scores to each of the links based on the collected data, and selectively generates, based on the assigned scores, a request to prefetch the selectable content associated with at least one of the links.

  • Publication number: 20220377156
Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for user interaction and task completion using multiple devices. A set of devices may be used to perform a task, such that different devices may perform different steps of the task. A device management service may update state information at each device of the set, thereby enabling a user to interact with any of the computing devices to perform the task. A device management service may also automatically determine which device should be used by the user, based on task or step requirements, device characteristics, and device capabilities, among other examples. Thus, rather than being required to continue a task on the same device (even when the device is not well-suited for the current step or task), the user is provided with the option to use and, in some instances, is automatically transitioned to use, different devices within the set.

  • Patent number: 11468228
Abstract: Content frames can be provided for productivity applications through a content frame platform. The platform can detect a sequence of similar documents (“a document run”) and provide functionality to easily create the next document in the sequence through a content frame. The platform can receive a trigger for a content frame for a new document; and, in response, determine whether the new document belongs to a document run. In response to determining the new document belongs to a document run, the platform can determine at least two documents in the document run to be used to create the content frame and identify common content between the at least two documents in the document run. The content frame, which can include at least an outline for the new document and sections of updatable content for the new document, can be generated using the common content and provided for display and/or editing.

  • Patent number: 11452521
Abstract: A suture passer which is sized and shaped to be inserted through the femoral notch during a meniscal repair. The suture passer includes upper and lower jaws that may be straight or that may have an angled offset in relation to the common axis of the suture passer in order to gain an indirect access to meniscal tissue in a constricted space. The jaws of the suture passer may be angled, either to the left or to the right, up to 45 degrees from the central axis of the shaft. The suture passer is also able to grasp meniscal tissue prior to suture passing. A nitinol needle housed within one of the jaws can then be deployed to pass a preloaded suture through the tissue to be captured on the opposite side of the tissue.
