  • Publication number: 20250106914
Abstract: An emulated wireless access point (AP) at a first PMC device (PMC1) establishes a first tunneled direct link setup (TDLS) session between a first station module (STA1) incorporated into the PMC1 and a second station module (STA2) incorporated into a second PMC device (PMC2). Following establishment of the TDLS session, the wireless AP is allowed to sleep; and most infrastructure management duties are handled by the STA1 during the session. PMC device battery charge may be conserved as a result. The emulated wireless AP may also establish a second TDLS link to a third station module (STA3) incorporated into a third PMC device (PMC3). The STA1 may then bridge data traffic flow between the STA2 and the STA3. Such bridging operation may enable communication between two PMC devices otherwise unable to decode data received from the other.

  • Publication number: 20250107252
Abstract: An optical receiver comprises a monolithically integrated photodiode (PD) and transimpedance amplifier (TIA). The TIA comprises InP heterojunction bipolar transistors (HBT) fabricated from a first plurality of layers of an epitaxial layer stack grown on a SI:InP substrate; the PD may be a pin PD fabricated from a second plurality of layers of the epitaxial layer stack, overlying the first plurality of layers. The p-contact of the PIN is directly connected to the input of the TIA to reduce PIN capacitance CPIN. The TIA capacitance CTIA may be matched to CPIN. The PD may be a vertical PIN with a top facet window or a waveguide PD with a lateral facet window. Device parameters comprising a device area, device capacitance CPIN+CTIA; and feedback resistance RF of the TIA are optimized to performance specifications comprising a specified sensitivity and responsivity at an operational wavelength. This design approach enables cost-effective fabrication of integrated PIN-TIA.

  • Publication number: 20250099868
Abstract: The present invention includes a spray drying disposable device for use in a spray drying system. The disposable has a spray drying head and a plasma drying chamber. The head has a spray dry nozzle assembly in fluid communication with the plasma source and the pressurized aerosol gas source. The pressurized gas flows in a vortex pattern that atomizes plasma droplets in the chamber. The head also includes a plenum has uniform air pressure of the drying gas. A baffle plate forms the floor of the plenum having drying gas jets that supply drying gas to the chamber. The atomized plasma droplets evaporate in the presence of the drying gas emitted from the jets to obtain dried plasma particles and humid air. A capture filter captures the dried plasma particles and allows the humid air to pass. The humid air passes through the gas outlet and the exhaust port.
