  • Patent number: 10652154
Abstract: Approaches, techniques, and mechanisms facilitate actionable reporting of network state information and real-time, autonomous network engineering directly in-network at a switch or other network device. A data collector within the network device collects state information and/or data unit information from various device components, such as traffic managers and packet processors. The data collector, which may optionally generate additional state information by performing various calculations on the information it receives, is configured to then provide at least some of the state information to an analyzer device connected to an analyzer interface. The analyzer device, which may be a separate device, performs various analyses on the state information, depending on how it is configured. The analyzer device outputs reports that identify statuses, errors, misconfigurations, and/or suggested actions to take to improve operation of the network device.

  • Patent number: 10650785
Abstract: MicroLED arrays offer a small form factor solution for the HMD image sources since they do not need a separate illumination optics. Features of the present disclosure implement a MicroLED display system that incorporate a plurality of monochrome projectors (e.g., three MicroLED projectors) to generate three monochrome images (e.g., red, blue, and green images) that are separately input into a single waveguide of the HMD and combined to form an image that is displayed to the user. By utilizing a single waveguide that includes a plurality of spatially separated input regions (e.g., a region for inputting blue light, a region for inputting red light, a region for inputting green light), the MicroLED display system of the present disclosure may reduce the form factor of the HMD device because of the reduced number of plates that may be required to combine the three monochrome images.

  • Patent number: 10649497
Abstract: A process for performing localized corrective actions to structure of an electronic device is described. The structure may include a mating surface configured to receive another structured such that the two structures may be, for example, adhesively bonded together. The localized corrective actions are configured not to improve the mating surface but to also prevent light within the electronic device from escaping in undesired areas of the electronic device. In some embodiments, the corrective action includes using a removal tool to remove identified portions of the surface. In other embodiments, the corrective action includes using a different tool to add material identified portions of the surface. The identified means may include an automated inspection system.

Abstract: In one general aspect, an electrophoretic measurement method is disclosed that includes providing a vessel that holds a dispersant, providing a first electrode immersed in the dispersant, and providing a second electrode immersed in the dispersant. A sample is placed at a location within the dispersant between the first and second electrodes with the sample being separated from the electrodes, an alternating electric field is applied across the electrodes, and the sample is illuminated with temporally coherent light. A frequency shift is detected in light from the step of illuminating that has interacted with the sample during the step of applying an alternating electric field, and a property of the sample is derived based on results of the step of detecting.

Generally, the devices include a cooling member carrying a coolant that cools a selected portion of adipose tissue overlying the target blood vessel to reduce the selected portion of adipose tissue, thereby forming a depression in the adipose tissue and allowing the target blood vessel closer to the surface of the skin. In some variations, the cooling member is placed subcutaneously to directly cool the selected portion of adipose tissue. In other variations, the cooling member is placed external to the patient to indirectly cool the selected portion of adipose tissue through the skin.
