  • Patent number: 10651844
Abstract: An IC chip, a system and a method of operating the IC chip in response to an event trigger are provided. The method includes responsive to the event trigger, coupling a pin to a source of constant current to charge an external capacitor coupled to the pin and monitoring a capacitor voltage on the pin. If the magnitude of the capacitor voltage is greater than a rising threshold, detection of a falling threshold is enabled. If the magnitude of the capacitor voltage is greater than a voltage threshold, a first response is triggered and the pin is coupled to the lower rail to discharge the external capacitor. If detection of the falling threshold is enabled and the magnitude of the capacitor voltage is less than the falling threshold, the first response is also triggered.

  • Patent number: 10648678
Abstract: A building-integrated solar energy system is disclosed that comprises an evacuated closed-loop conduit network circulating a working fluid through a solar thermal collector and at least one heat usage device, wherein the effective entirety of the surfaces of the closed-loop conduit network are in contact with the working fluid such that phase change occurs whenever heat energy is added by the solar thermal collector or removed by a heat usage device. The working fluid is adiabatically isolated and contained in a low pressure environment within the closed-loop conduit network. The full surface contact and low-pressure isolation of the working fluid dramatically reduces temperature differentials and energy losses, allowing for highly efficient and cost-effective heat collection and distribution.

  • Patent number: 10650700
Abstract: An incident simulation system supports an incident exercise in a virtual environment. The incident simulation system accesses a simulation plan defining an incident within a theater of operation. The incident simulation system simulates the incident exercise by displaying, to a participant in the incident exercise, images representing what the participant would see within the theater of operation as the participant moves within the theater of operation. The incident simulation system further simulates the incident by generating incident data indicating effects of the incident at target locations and at target times as the participant moves within the theater of operation. The incident simulation system further simulates the incident by displaying to the participant images representing the user experience that a detector would provide based on the generated incident data.

  • Patent number: 10650611
Abstract: Systems and methods for creating, storing, and manipulating 3D objects in a software-supported virtual environment, without having to release new versions or renderings of the software-supported virtual environment, are disclosed. The system includes one or more graph files for defining particular 3D objects, where the one or more graph files define the object behavior in the software-supported virtual environment. A mobile application included in the system may receive the one or more graph files for displaying the 3D objects. A user of the mobile application may visually manipulate or configure the 3D objects, such as extending or rotating the 3D objects, which results in real-time adjustments to the one or more graph files, the display, and additional services such as price quoting.
