  • Publication number: 20200017048
Abstract: Among other things, a documentation of a crash involving a vehicle is generated automatically. Telematics data is received that has been produced by one or more sensors associated with a telematics device at the vehicle. Based on the telematics data, a vehicle crash period is determined that begins at a start time and ends at an end time of the vehicle crash. Based on the telematics data, one or more metrics are determined associated with the vehicle during the vehicle crash period. Based on one or more metrics, a human-readable documentation of the vehicle crash is generated automatically.

  • Patent number: 10520279
Abstract: An accessory mounting interface for a firearm, and a related method, are disclosed. The interface has a firearm accessory, a first elongated fastener, and a second fastener rotationally mated to the first elongated fastener. The first elongated fastener has right-handed threading and is arranged through a through hole in the firearm accessory with a first end extending below first and second halves of a first slot protrusion of the firearm accessory. The second fastener has a length greater than a width, the length measured along a longitudinal axis of the second fastener, the second fastener having a plurality of straight edges. At least one of the plurality of straight edges prevents the second fastener from rotating further than a closed position when the at least one of the straight edges abuts a sidewall of an elongated slot in the firearm.

  • Patent number: 10524165
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a system for dynamic utilization of alternative resources based on token association. The system is typically configured for receiving a request from a user to generate a generic token for a digital wallet located on a mobile device of the user, generating the generic token and associating one or more resource credentials of the user with the generic token, transmitting the generic token to the mobile device of the user and storing the generic token in the digital wallet, receiving an interaction request from an authorization network to route an interaction, and routing the interaction to complete the interaction by selecting at least one resource credential from the one or more resource credentials associated with the generic token and transmitting the at least one resource credential to the authorization network.

  • Patent number: 10511692
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a system for transmitting data to networked resources based on extracted contextual information from said networked resources. The system gathers contextual data from devices on the network, extracts contextual information from the contextual data, and determines supplemental resources to provide to the networked devices based on the contextual information. The system may further provide an augmented reality environment to a networked device that integrates identifies objects in an image and integrates notifications of supplemental resources in the augmented reality environment.

  • Publication number: 20190310123
Abstract: A flow meter prover with a piston assembly that is movable from a start position to a finish position and an actuator assembly with a carriage that moves between a first position and a second position. Preferably, the carriage is operable to releasably couple to the piston assembly, and the carriage is operable to move the piston assembly from the finish position to the start position as the carriage moves from the second position to the first position. The actuator assembly preferably includes a linear actuator that moves the carriage, and the carriage preferably includes an electromagnet that releasably couples to the piston assembly. The piston assembly preferably slides on a flag rod having first and second flags mounted thereon and two guide rods. A photoelectric sensor senses the flags as the piston assembly slides on the flag rod and generates signals when it senses the flags.

  • Patent number: 10437993
Abstract: A mechanism called time-deterministic replay (TOR) that can reproduce the execution of a program, including its precise timing. Without TOR, reproducing the timing of an execution is difficult because there are many sources of timing variability. TOR uses a combination of techniques to either mitigate or eliminate most of these sources of variability. Using a prototype implementation of TOR in a Java Virtual Machine, we show it is possible to reproduce the timing to within 1.85% of the original execution. A study of one of the applications of TOR is described: the detection of a covert timing channel. Timing channels can be used to exfiltrate information from a compromised machine by subtly varying timing of the machine's outputs, TOR can detect this variation. Unlike prior solutions, which generally look for a specific type of timing channel, our approach can detect a wide variety of channels with high accuracy.

  • Patent number: 10313480
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a system for transmitting data between networked resources. Information about a managing entity's supplemental resource is identified, where the supplemental resource supplements a set of resources associated with a user in response to a determination that a particular interaction has occurred. The supplemental resource is then determined to be associated with a third party entity's application on a computing device of the user. The third party application is adjusted by the managing entity to display a selectable notification of the supplemental resource within the third party application. Once the selectable notification is selected, the managing entity approves the supplemental resource for future use by the user. Once the particular interaction associated with the supplemental resource has occurred, the supplemental resource is applied to the set of resources at a later point in time.

  • Publication number: 20190114653
Abstract: Disclosed in some examples is a question platform which matches survey creators with survey takers (entities) referred by publishers. In some examples, the match can happen in real-time or near real time based upon a number of match criteria. Match criteria may include survey creator criteria submitted by the survey creators that describe desired entity attributes, a bid price (e.g., maximum price they are willing to pay), and survey content information. Match criteria may also include publisher criteria that describe entity information, an ask price (minimum price that the publisher is willing to accept for providing access to the entity), and content criteria (e.g., restrictions on the types of survey, the number of questions, and the like).

Abstract: Apparatus and methods for joining nodes, extrusions, and panels are presented herein. Nodes, extrusions, and panels can be joined together using adhesive joining techniques. The adhesive joining techniques can be applied to additively manufactured nodes or extrusions, and sandwich panels. Sandwich panels can be additively manufactured and/or commercial off the shelf (COTS) components. There can be more than one type of a joint formed by the joining techniques. Exemplary types of j oints can use a liquid adhesive in conjunction with a vacuum and/or a film foam adhesive.

  • Publication number: 20190068456
Abstract: A replication of a physical network is created in the cloud. The replicated network safely validates configuration changes for any hardware network device of the physical network and the physical network end state resulting from the changes without impacting the physical network steady state. The replicated network creates virtual machines on hardware resources provisioned from the cloud. The virtual machines emulate network device functionality and have the same addressing as the network devices. Nested overlay networks reproduce the direct connectivity that exists between different pairs of the network devices on the virtual machines. A first overlay network formed by a first Virtual Extensible Local Area Network (VXLAN) provides direct logical connections between the cloud machines on which the virtual machines execute.
