  • Publication number: 20150232318
Abstract: A bottle cap dispenser for administering doses of soluble consumables in conjunction with a water bottle. The bottle cap dispenser includes a bottle dispensing cap and a cartridge chamber removably attached to one other. The bottle dispensing cap provides a means for attaching the bottle cap dispenser to a water bottle, while the cartridge chamber provides a receptacle for retaining the soluble consumables. The cartridge chamber is attached below the bottle dispensing cap and has a plurality of perforations, which allows water to enter the cartridge chamber and dissolve the soluble consumables. The water is then dispensed through a spout of the bottle dispensing cap. A filter assembly may also be attached to the cartridge chamber opposite the bottle dispensing cap. A filter casing is attached to the cartridge chamber, while a filter material positioned within the filter casing removes impurities and contaminants from the water.

  • Publication number: 20150215594
Abstract: Methods and systems for color grading video content are presented. A component (e.g. a frame, a shot and/or a scene) of the video content is designated to be a master component and one or more other components of the video content are designated to be slave components, each slave component associated with the master component. A master component color grading operation is performed to the master component. For each one of the slave components, the master component color grading operation is performed to the slave component and a slave color grading operation that is specific to the one of the slave components is also performed. Metadata, which form part of the video content, are created to provide indicators on to whether components of the video are designated as master or slave components.

  • Patent number: 9011048
Abstract: A method for constructing a mechanically stabilized earthen embankment has the steps of constructing a wall facing element, and determining a plane of maximum force and a zone of maximum force in the earthen embankment to be formed. A plurality of elongate soil reinforcement elements are bent to form semi-extensible bent segments, but such that proximal and distal portions remain substantially straight and inextensible. The elongate soil reinforcement elements are positioned such that the semi-extensible region is within the zone of maximum force, and the proximal ends are connected to the wall facing element. Fill soil is added to build the earthen embankment, and the process is repeated until the earthen embankment is formed.

  • Publication number: 20150105157
Abstract: An active game controller includes a plurality of load sensors for detecting a load applied on an exercise support apparatus having a seat support area attached thereto a lumbar support portion that supports the lumbar region of a person's body on which a player performs abdominal sit-ups, push-ups, poses or stretches upon. The active game controller wirelessly transmits a load value detected as manipulation data by the load sensors to a game machine or smart device. The game machine or smart device determines a necessary quantity of load values, and the game machine or smart device computes the necessary quantity of load values based on the detected load value from the active game controller. Subsequently, game processing is performed based on the necessary quantity of computed load values received from both the seat support area and lumbar support portion.

  • Patent number: 8573556
Abstract: A form for creating a pattern in uncured concrete during a vertical column casting process includes an end wall and at least one side wall, extending from an edge of the end wall with the side wall and end wall cooperatively defining a corner therebetween. A pliable liner is attached to the end wall and the side wall and operably joins the side wall to the edge of the end wall to define a mold cavity. At least one patterned surface is formed on or in the pliable liner and is operable to form a corresponding pattern into concrete disposed in an uncured form in the old cavity. A notch is formed in the pliable liner and extends along the corner and forms a pivotable joint between the end wall and the side wall to facilitate removal of the form device from about the concrete after the concrete has at least partially cured.

  • Publication number: 20130216158
Abstract: A self-supporting bag configured to carry attire, equipment, food, beverage, and the like includes a first pair of upstanding mesh side panels joined together at respective side edges to form a shaped compartment body defining an inner body cavity having an opening at an upper end thereof, and an insulated compartment affixed to lower edges of the joined first pair of mesh side panels, a top outer surface of the thermal compartment forming a bottom panel of the bag. The compartment includes a re-closeable opening accessible from the exterior of the bag. The bag further includes a second plurality of mesh panels attached between the compartment and outer surfaces of the first pair of upstanding mesh side panels as a plurality of end pockets and side pockets around the periphery of the bag, the end pockets rendering the bag self supporting in the absence of rigid framing.

  • Patent number: 8512142
Abstract: A game controller includes a plurality of load sensors for detecting a load applied on an exercise support board having at least one stepping exercise platform and attached thereto a sliding platform having concave sides on which player's legs are ridden The game controller transmits a load value detected as manipulation data by the load sensors to a game machine. The game machine determines a necessary quantity of load values, and the game machine computes the necessary quantity of load values based on the detected load value from the game controller. Subsequently, game processing is performed based on the necessary quantity of computed load values on either the stepping exercise portion or the sliding exercise portion.

  • Patent number: 8219171
Abstract: A system, device, and method for placing a capsule for sensing one or more parameters of a patient by anchoring the capsule to a tissue at a specific site and releasing the capsule from the device, using a single actuator operated during a single motion. As an example, a delivery device may anchor the capsule to the tissue site and release the capsule from the delivery device during a single motion of the actuator. This allows a user to place the capsule by interacting with only a single actuator through one type of motion, thus making delivery of the capsule more reliable and user-friendly.

The system includes a database stored on a computer readable medium having data records associated with each foreign origin parcel or individual. Associated with the database is a processor having a search engine for performing searches on the information in the data records based on criteria selected by a user. The system further includes an interface. The interface allows the user to select search criteria to be used by the processor to search the data records. The interface displays the results of the search to the user and allows the user to select parcels or individuals identified during the search for inspection. In addition, the processor and interface allows the user to electronically store notes taken during the inspection, such that the information related to the inspection can be electronically archived.
