Abstract: A circuit board water-proofing coating composition is provided comprising: at least one passivating agent, preferably containing a molecule comprising a thio-functional group, desirably a thiol group, an azolic moiety, or an azole, and combinations thereof; at least one binder component comprising an organic or inorganic film-forming polymer, and/or one or more polymer pre-cursors polymerizable on a substrate surface; and optionally one or more additive(s); also provided are methods of making and using the coating composition and coated circuit boards.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to methods for separating mixtures of polyols, in particular mixtures of two of more different vicinal diols having close boiling points, thus making them difficult or impossible to separate using conventional distillation techniques. The polyol mixture is reacted with an aldehyde or ketone acetalization agent to form one or more acetals as corresponding acetalization reaction products. The acetalization reaction products are more easily separable either from each other (such as via distillation) or from an unreacted vicinal diol (such as via extraction, settling, or other phase separation). After separation, hydrolysis is performed on the acetalization reaction products to recover the vicinal diols as separate, purified components. The methods provide cost-effective processes for separating different polyols originally formed in admixture.

The stapling head assembly includes an anvil coupling feature, at least one annular array of staples, and a staple driver. The second user input feature is operable to drive the anvil coupling feature longitudinally. The staple driver is operable to drive the at least one annular array of staples. The motor is operable to drive the staple driver. The anvil is configured to couple with the anvil coupling feature. The anvil is further configured to deform the staples driven by the staple driver.

Abstract: Described herein are techniques to enable a mobile device to perform multi-source estimation of an altitude for a location. A baseline altitude may be determined at ground level for a location and used to calibrate a barometric pressure sensor on the mobile device. The calibrated barometric pressure sensor can then estimate changes in altitude relative to ground level based on detected pressure differentials, allowing a relative altitude to ground to be determined. Baseline calibration for the barometric sensor calibration can be performed to determine an ambient ground-level barometric pressure.

Abstract: Lock mounting assemblies are disclosed for storing and mounting a locking apparatus to a transportation device. The mounting assemblies include one or more straps or connectors for securing the mounting assembly to the transportation device. The mounting assemblies having a structure to securely retain the locking apparatus on the transportation device and provide easy access to and release of the locking apparatus from the mounting assembly.

The software authenticates the user using the password. The software also receives an age from the user and determines that the user is of age to gamble on the gambling game, based on data stored in a database for the gaming system. Then software transmits a program to the remote player device. When executed, the program interactively presents the gambling game through a remote player interface and causes media associated with the gambling game to be presented on the remote player device.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method provides for authenticating a user of a remote player device for a first host gaming device for a session of a gambling game. The method provides for determining that the user is of age to play the gambling game and for recording a state of the session of the gambling game. The method is further enabled to detect an interruption of the session of the gambling game and to transfer the state of the gambling game to a second host gaming device. The method also is configured to establish a connection between the remote player device and the second host gaming device for resuming the session of the gambling game on the remote player device via the second host gaming device.
