  • Publication number: 20130267304
Abstract: A gaming system authenticates over a network a user of a remote device for a gaming system for a gambling game. The gaming system determines a location of the remote device. The gaming system verifies that the location of the remote device is within a jurisdiction that allows use of the gaming system by persons of age to gamble. Then the gaming system provides software to the remote device, wherein the software, when executed, causes media associated with the gambling game to be presented on the remote device.

  • Publication number: 20130260880
Abstract: A gaming system receives a password over a network from a user of a remote player device for a gaming system for a gambling game. The gaming system authenticates the user using the password. The gaming system receives an age from the user and determining that the user is of age to gamble on the gambling game, based on data stored in a database for the gaming system. Then gaming system provides software to the remote player device, wherein the software, when executed, interactively presents the gambling game through a remote player interface and causes media associated with the gambling game to be presented on the remote player device.

  • Publication number: 20130196730
Abstract: A gaming system receives information over a network from a user of a remote player device for the gaming system. The gaming system includes a central gaming controller and a random number generator for a gambling game. The information includes a password and an age. The gaming system authenticates the user using the password and determines that the user is of age to gamble on the gambling game using the age, based on data stored in a database for the gaming system. The gaming system accepts a wager from the user over the network and executes a play of the gambling game. Then the gaming system causes a result for the play to be displayed on the remote player device.

  • Patent number: 8023308
Abstract: A non-volatile memory cell and related system utilize ferroelectric capacitors as data storage elements. Circuitry is provided for writing to a single ferroelectric capacitor storage element, as well as to dual storage elements operating inversely. The storage elements are read by use of a sense amplifier in a configuration which automatically restores the original data states, thereby eliminating the need for a subsequent restore operation. Memory systems are described which include circuitry for driving bit lines, word lines and drive lines to accomplish both the write and read operations.

  • Publication number: 20090301044
Abstract: An improved air filter having a frame that permits collapse and compression of the entire filter to save costs associated with transportation and for other advantageous reasons. The ends of the filter frame open to permit collapse of the frame to reduce the volume thereof. The filter frame is made of frame members at opposing frame ends, and each frame member has web panels that open for collapse of the frame, and close for construction of the useful frame. The web panels have legs on opposite lateral edges to form a channel in which filtration media is inserted, and four frame members are attached at opposing ends to form a rectangular frame. The web panels open by removing a temporary fastener, such as adhesive, or by other means.
