  • Patent number: 10216600
Abstract: An approach is provided to correlate transaction data occurring at two different domains running on a common operating system image without using static, or common, correlators. Request-type event records are collected at a first domain within the operating system image, with each of the request-type event records including execution identifiers and a unique token that indicates the order in which the corresponding request-type event occurred on the first domain. Similarly, response-type event records are collected at a second domain within the operating system image. The request-type event records are matched with the response-type event records based on the execution identifiers and an overall order that is indicated by unique tokens included in the records. The matching of request-type event records with response-type event records indicate a number of inter-domain transactions which are recorded in a correlation data store.

  • Publication number: 20180287470
Abstract: A rotating electrical machine with one or more heating elements is provided in that the one or more heating elements mount circumferentially on an inside of a frame or enclosure of the rotating electrical machine. The rotating electrical machine comprises an enclosure with multiple cooling fins, insulated stator windings positioned inside the enclosure, and a heating element positioned inside the enclosure. The heating element provides suitable heating of the insulated stator windings through heated air to prevent condensation while being physically decoupled from an insulation of the insulated stator windings.

  • Patent number: 9977732
Abstract: The disclosure is related to systems and methods of nonvolatile data caching. In some embodiments, circuits or methods may be configured to store selected data to a nonvolatile data cache based on selection criteria. The selection criteria may be based on previous data access commands. The selection criteria may relate an amount of resources, such as time or power, needed to retrieve the selected data from a data storage medium. The selected data may be retrieved from the data storage medium and stored at the nonvolatile data cache during an idle state.

  • Publication number: 20170329850
Abstract: A secure DNS query may be made by establishing a secure connection with a specific DNS server to determine an address for a hostname. A client device may have a database that may contain a record of a secure DNS server for one or more hostnames. When a DNS request contains one of the specified hostnames, an authenticated session may be created with the designated secure DNS server and a network address for the hostname is returned using the session. The authenticated session may authenticate a client device to the server as well as authenticate the server to the client. In some embodiments, the secure DNS server may accept connections from authenticated clients and may disregard connection requests from non authenticated clients.

  • Publication number: 20170020148
Abstract: A vertical electric cooker and smoker having lower air intake vents and upper exhaust vents which together create a more balanced flow and distribution of smoke and reduce the operating pressure of the system to allow a much larger load of wood chips to be used without refilling. A smoke box is also provided for holding and properly combusting the larger quantity of wood chips in an oxygen deficient environment. The smoke box has a false bottom and discharges the smoke through a circuitous exhaust flow path. Also, the electric heating elements of the cooking and smoking apparatus are contained in an assembly which provides an air gap beneath the smoker box and also shields the smoker box to prevent the wood chips in the smoker box from becoming overheated.
