Publication number: 20250130374Abstract: A pre-terminated cable assembly (600, 700) comprises a length of cable (110) in which one or more optical fibres (306) are embedded in a solid resin material (320) to form a coated fibre bundle. An extruded polymer sheath (324) covers the coated fibre bundle. A ferrule sub-assembly (124, 602, 604, 606) is pre-arranged on a leading end of the cable. A restraining part (604 or 708) is bonded to a portion of the sheath. After passing through a duct, the sub-assembly (124) becomes part of a pluggable connector (500, 502, 504, 506). When a pull-out force is applied to the cable (110), the restraining part transfers at least 25 N of force to the connector body (502, 504, 506), while force on the optical fibre (306) remains below 5 N. The transferred force is sufficient to unplug the connector (500) before any damage occurs to the fibre.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 1, 2022Publication date: April 24, 2025Applicant: EMTELLE UK LTDInventors: Eben Colin KIRKPATRICK, William George RAE

Patent number: 12265968Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for identifying matching parameters of groups of nodes in graphical representations. The system may generate, in a graphical user interface, a graphical representation of nodes representing users associated with an entity. The system may activate the graphical representation as links connecting pairs of nodes, with the links representing interactions between users. The system may identify a grouping of nodes having a level of local clustering indicative of undesired activity. The system may determine graphical parameters relating to the level of local clustering and may identify the same graphical parameters in other groupings of nodes in other graphical representations. The system may thus identify indications of undesired activity based on matching parameters of groups of nodes.Type: GrantFiled: May 17, 2024Date of Patent: April 1, 2025Assignee: Citigroup Technology, Inc.Inventors: Paola Gittino, William George Cormier, Steve Thomas Dayton, Miriam Silver
