  • Patent number: 11809229
Abstract: A setting to be applied at a docking station is obtained, either from a memory of the docking station, or from another device connected to a network by first obtaining, from a user device connected to the docking station, an identity of the user device and/or an identity of a user of the user device. Based on the identity of the user and/or the user device, a configuration set, of a plurality of configuration sets, that identifies at least one setting to be applied at the docking station is obtained and a setting to apply at the docking station is determined based at least partly on the configuration set. The docking station may store a set of docking station specific settings which can be used in conjunction with the setting(s) determined from the configuration set.

  • Patent number: 11768752
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, that facilitate resource and space efficient analysis of large scale datasets. Methods include obtaining activity data for objects in a dataset. For each data item in the dataset, a hashed parameter having a binary representation is generated using an identifier for the object. A register is identified from among a set of registers based on the hashed parameter. A determination is made that the hashed parameter for the object contributes to an aggregation amount that specifies a number of occurrences of the object in the dataset. Based on this determination, an aggregation amount stored in the register is updated. Based on aggregation amounts stored in the set of registers, a reporting output is generated that provides an aggregate distribution of the objects in the dataset based on the activity data for the objects.

  • Patent number: 11755964
Abstract: A user of a personal computing device may identify multiple travel items of interest displayed for purchase by a network-based travel service. However, the user may not desire to purchase the travel items in a single purchase. Upon making a travel purchase that includes a first travel item that does not include a second travel item corresponding to the first travel item, the user may employ the network travel package service to search for second travel items corresponding to the first travel item, select from discounted travel packages including the first travel item and second travel items returned from the search, and purchase a discounted travel package. Beneficially, multiple travel items may be purchased separately while obtaining a package discount as compared to the stand-alone price of the travel items.

  • Patent number: 11715350
Abstract: A gaming machine comprises a display and an electronic controller for playing a first game. The electronic controller is configured to randomly determine whether to display one or more bonus symbols in the first game, each bonus symbol being associated with a bonus value award. Where a trigger event occurs during the first game, such as the appearance of a predetermined order of bonus symbols, electronic controller is configured to display an array of the bonus symbols on the display or optionally on another display. Where bonus symbols appear in further plays of the first game or plays of a second game, the bonus symbols are added to the array and bonus symbols present on the array are sequentially transferred to a win meter, which increments by the amount of the associated bonus value award of each transferred bonus symbol.

  • Publication number: 20230089564
Abstract: An imaging system is for recording images of a bearing raceway and includes a platform having a surface sized to receive the bearing ring and an optical imager having a lens. A positioner secures the optical imager or a reflector oriented to reflect light to the optical imager lens and locates the optical imager lens or the reflector axially between first and second axial ends of the raceway and facing generally toward the raceway. A motor rotates the platform or the positioner relative to the other one of the platform and the positioner. A processor operates the optical imager and the motor such that the optical imager takes a series of images about the entire perimeter of the bearing raceway. The processor also indexes each image to a separate one of a plurality of arcuate segments of the raceway and constructs a panoramic image of the raceway.

  • Publication number: 20230062104
Abstract: Systems and methods for navigating an autonomous vacuum are disclosed. According to one method, the autonomous vacuum traverses a cleaning environment having a plurality of surfaces. As the autonomous vacuum is traversing the cleaning environment, sensors on the autonomous vacuum capture sensor data describing a first section of a surface on which the autonomous vacuum is currently traversing. Based on the received sensor data, the autonomous vacuum can determine that the first section is of a first surface type of a plurality of surface types. The autonomous vacuum can generate a user interface with a background displaying the determined first surface type to notify the user of where the autonomous vacuum is cleaning.
