  • Patent number: 11033210
Abstract: Optical coherence tomography (herein “OCT”) based analyte monitoring systems are disclosed. In one aspect, techniques are disclosed that can identify fluid flow in vivo (e.g., blood flow), which can act as a metric for gauging the extent of blood perfusion in tissue. For instance, if OCT is to be used to estimate the level of an analyte (e.g., glucose) in tissue, a measure of the extent of blood flow can potentially indicate the presence of an analyte correlating region, which would be suitable for analyte level estimation with OCT. Another aspect is related to systems and methods for scanning multiple regions. An optical beam is moved across the surface of the tissue in two distinct manners. The first can be a coarse scan, moving the beam to provide distinct scanning positions on the skin. The second can be a fine scan where the beam is applied for more detailed analysis.

  • Patent number: 11022391
Abstract: A firearm for firing cased telescoped (CT) ammunition cartridges that includes a split chamber configured to fully support a CT cartridge when it is fired, and that includes i) a dynamic rear chamber portion defining a pocket in a face of a bolt, and ii) a static front chamber portion that is integral to the barrel and separate from the bolt. A cartridge extraction mechanism engages the CT cartridge prior to the CT cartridge being fired, and holds the CT cartridge in the pocket in the bolt face as the bolt moves rearward to pull the CT cartridge out of the static front chamber portion and into an ejection position. An ejector is operable to eject the CT cartridge from the pocket in the face of the bolt when the CT cartridge reaches the ejection position.

  • Publication number: 20210126987
Abstract: The various implementations described herein include methods and systems for displaying information about entities in a structured way. In one aspect, a method is performed at a server system comprising memory and processors. The server receives a request from a client device for an information page associated with an entity. The server identifies automatically information and information types associated with the entity. The server generates and formats automatically a structured information page having regions for the entity, including a dynamically determined location-based information type associated with the entity. The server populates the regions of the structured information page with information of the entity for the identified information types, and with location information associated with the client device transmits the generated and formatted page to the client device for display.

  • Patent number: 10990421
Abstract: An artificial intelligence (“AI”) based system is disclosed for associating low-level user content, such as documents, email messages, and calendar invites, with high-level user activities using topics as an abstraction. The associations can enable a computing system to provide, among other things, activity-specific views that present a specific selection of low-level user content that is most relevant to a user at a particular point in time. The activity-specific views present the right information to users at the right time based on a context of a user and a user's past activities.
