    Abstract: A surgical instrument includes an elongate shaft having a proximal shaft portion and a malleable distal shaft portion. The ablation head is sized to fit within the nasal cavity of a patient with a distal end of the supporting surgical instrument. The first dilation catheter is removed from the nostril of the patient. A second dilation catheter may be inserted into a second nostril of the patient. A dilator of the second dilation catheter may provide an opposing force on the nasal septum to prevent over-medialization of the nasal septum.
