    Abstract: A cooling system for an industrial facility includes a facility that has a thermal energy output and an input, a dry cooler that includes a plurality of blowers, an evaporative cooling tower, a fluid-cooled chiller, a valving system that receives a thermally-charged media from the thermal energy output for delivery to at least one of the dry cooler, the evaporative cooling tower, and the fluid-cooled chiller, and a temperature sensor that is in communication with the valving system via a controller. The temperature sensor measures a current ambient temperature and cooperates with the controller to automatically adjust the valving system to direct the thermally-charged media to one of the dry cooler, the evaporative cooling tower, and the fluid-cooled chiller for rejecting heat from the thermally-charged media to define a thermally-receptive media. The cooling system further includes a return conduit that delivers the thermally-receptive media to the input.

    Abstract: Provided is a method for the manufacture of a butyrate product by fermentation of a carbon source-containing fermentation feedstock with a Clostridia class bacterium which natively produces butyric acid while maintaining a pH of about 5 to 7, wherein ammonia is used for said maintaining pH and whereby a fermentation broth comprising ammonium butyrate, a biomass, and optionally a fermentation by-product is formed; separating said biomass from said fermentation broth to form separated biomass and a clarified fermentation broth, wherein said clarified fermentation broth comprises said ammonium butyrate and optionally said fermentation by-product; and adding to said clarified broth an additive selected from the group consisting of a mineral acid, a mineral base, a soluble calcium salt and combinations thereof, whereby said butyrate product is formed in said clarified broth. Further provided are feed ingredients, animal feeds and anti-icing agents comprising the composition, and uses thereof.

Accepting the invention permits the player to reserve a position at the gaming table and displays a machine readable code at the player's mobile device. The player positions at the gaming table include video display and player input devices (VDPIDs) and a code reader to read the displayed code and access the player's electronic account. Using the VDPID the player may convert between electronic funds and physical gaming chips, participate in video bonus event play and back-bet on other players.

Techniques are described for uniformly growing files in the group of files to maintain a similar size for the files as the amount of storage increases. These techniques may prevent one file from becoming disproportionately larger than another file of the file group, supporting efficient read and write operations at the database. The file growth may be based on the file sizes as well as an amount of storage to be added for the group of files. For example, an application managing the file growth may sort the files by size, track uniform growth running totals, and determine file growth commands based on the uniform growth running totals.
