  • Publication number: 20240364669
Abstract: Techniques for routing Internet Protocol security (IPsec) data packets. An index is assigned to a Security Parameter Index (SPI) header of the IPsec data packet. The index includes information for routing the data packet to a particular Encapsulating Security Payload (ESP) processor. The data packet can be routed using techniques that are analogous to conventional routing protocols such as IPv4 routing protocol. This allows the data packet to be routed using less expensive routing protocols rather than relying solely on more expensive load balancing techniques to route the data packet. This also advantageously allows the data packet to be routed employing routing techniques developed over decades of routing protocol development.

  • Patent number: 12130693
Abstract: A method includes determining a cluster reliability of a computing cluster including a maximum computing capacity and representative of a reliability of the computing cluster when utilizing an entirety of the maximum computing capacity. The operations include receiving a provisioning request of the computing cluster including a threshold reliability of the computing cluster. In response to the provisioning request, determining, using the cluster reliability, a reserved computing capacity of the computing cluster based on the threshold reliability. The reserved computing capacity is less than the maximum computing capacity. Based on the reserved computing capacity and the maximum computing capacity, the operations include determining an unreserved computing capacity of the computing cluster. The operations include provisioning the computing cluster for execution of a user workload. The user workload executes on the unreserved computing capacity.

  • Patent number: 12081430
Abstract: Techniques for a hub node to, provisioned in a network site of a hub and spoke overlay network, to receive a network advertisement from the spoke, decode network routing requirements from a border gateway protocol (BGP) large community associated with the network advertisement, and store the network routing requirements in association with a route associated with the spoke. The routing requirements may indicate one or more service(s) to be applied to the packet, a trust level associated with the spoke, and/or a trust zone associated with the spoke. The hub node may receive a packet from the spoke to be transmitted to destination spoke. The hub node may then route the packet to the destination spoke, drop the packet, or send the packet to a service node configured to apply the one or more services to the packet based on the routing requirements.

  • Publication number: 20240241213
Abstract: Multiplexed phased array sonar systems and methods for consumer fishfinders are described herein. A transducer unit for such a system includes a transmit (TX) element that generates a sonar ping, a receive (RX) array configured to receive sonar echoes resulting from the sonar ping contacting targets, a digital signal processor (DSP) that processes the sonar echoes into sonar display information, and multiplexers (MUXs) coupled between the RX array and the DSP. The MUXs are configured to couple a portion of the RX array to the DSP during a first time and a second portion of the RX array during a second time such that the of MUXs couple an entirety of the RX array to the DSP during each transmit-receive cycle. A method of preventing distortions in the sonar display information selects the elements of the RX array to be sampled in accordance with a predetermined multiplexing pattern.
