  • Publication number: 20220366892
Abstract: A text search query including one or more words may be received. An ASR index created for an audio recording may be searched over using the query to produce ASR search results including words, each word associated with a confidence score. For each of the words in the ASR search results associated with a confidence score below a threshold (and in some cases having one or more preceding words in the ASR index and one or more subsequent words in the ASR index), a phonetic representation of the audio recording may be searched for the word having the confidence score below the threshold, where it occurs in the audio recording, possibly after the one or more preceding words and in the audio recording before the one or more subsequent words, to produce phonetic search results. Search results may be returned include ASR and phonetic results.

  • Publication number: 20220341716
Abstract: A method for automatically computing the position and score for each dart on a dartboard using a single image of the dart and dartboard captured from any camera angle. A computing device with at least one connected camera captures an image of a dartboard. The computing device performs various image processing tasks and computes the landing position of each dart present in the image and the positions of multiple dartboard calibration points. The dartboard calibration points are used to compute a transformation matrix that transforms the detected points in the image plane to corresponding points in the dartboard plane. The score of each dart is computed based on the relative positioning of the transformed points in the dartboard plane. The method may be used to perform automatic scorekeeping in a variety of different dart games, either in a single location or in remote locations.

  • Patent number: 11470176
Abstract: The present technology provides a system, method and computer readable medium for steering a content request among plurality of cache servers based on multi-level assessment of content popularity. In some embodiments a three levels of popularity may be determined comprising popular, semi-popular and unpopular designations for the queried content. The processing of the query and delivery of the requested content depends on the aforementioned popularity level designation and comprises a acceptance of the query at the edge cache server to which the query was originally directed, rejection of the query and re-direction to a second edge cache server or redirection of the query to origin server to thereby deliver the requested content. The proposed technology results in higher hit ratio for edge cache clusters by steering requests for semi-popular content to one or more additional cache servers while forwarding request for unpopular content to origin server.

  • Publication number: 20220292364
Abstract: A method for simulating a random walk using spiking neuromorphic hardware is provided. The method comprises receiving, by a buffer count neuron, spiking inputs from upstream mesh nodes, wherein the inputs include information packets comprising information associated with a simulation of a random walk process. A buffer generator neuron generates spikes until the buffer count reaches a first predefined threshold, after which it sends buffer spiking outputs to a spike count neuron. The spike count neuron counts the buffer spiking outputs, and a spike generator neuron generates spikes until the spike count neuron reaches a second specified threshold. The spike generator neuron then sends counter spiking outputs to a probability neuron, which selects downstream mesh nodes to receive the counter spiking outputs, wherein the spiking outputs include updated information packets. The probability neuron then sends the spiking outputs to the selected downstream nodes.

  • Patent number: 11436111
Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques for providing a distributed scalable architecture for Network Address Translation (NAT) systems with high availability and mitigations for flow breakage during failover events. The NAT servers may include functionality to serve as fast-path servers and/or slow-path servers. A fast-path server may include a NAT worker that includes a cache of NAT mappings to perform stateful network address translation and to forward packets with minimal latency. A slow-path server may include a mapping server that creates new NAT mappings, depreciates old ones, and answers NAT worker state requests. The NAT system may use virtual mapping servers (VMSs) running on primary physical servers with state duplicated VMSs on different physical failover servers.

  • Patent number: 11409922
Abstract: A method for increasing a speed or energy efficiency at which a computer is capable of modeling a plurality of random walkers. The method includes defining a virtual space in which a plurality of virtual random walkers will move among different locations in the virtual space, wherein the virtual space comprises a plurality of vertices and wherein the different locations are ones of the plurality of vertices. A corresponding set of neurons in a spiking neural network is assigned to a corresponding vertex such that there is a correspondence between sets of neurons and the plurality of vertices, wherein a spiking neural network comprising a plurality of sets of spiking neurons is established. A virtual random walk of the plurality of virtual random walkers is executed using the spiking neural network, wherein executing includes tracking how many virtual random walkers are at each vertex at a given time increment.
