  • Patent number: 10077636
Abstract: Embodiments relate to removing residue from a well bore and well bore equipment with a treatment fluid composition, and in some embodiments, to treatment fluid compositions that comprise nanoparticles. An embodiment provides a method of removing drilling fluid residue from the surfaces of well equipment. The method comprising: applying a solid nanoparticle film to at least a portion of the surfaces of the well equipment with a treatment fluid comprising solid nanoparticles; and allowing the solid nanoparticles to interact with the surfaces of the well equipment and the drilling fluid residue adhered to the surfaces of the well equipment to remove at least a portion of the drilling fluid residue from the surfaces of the well equipment.

  • Patent number: 8773265
Abstract: An alarm system for protecting an environment from an unwanted events, such as an intrusion, the alarm system including: a detection sensor for detecting sound in the environment, wherein the detection sensors are adaptable to identify a unique audio signal if an unwanted event is detected; a sensor module adapted to verify the unique audio signal from the detection sensor; and an alarm generation module adapted to generate an alarm if the unique audio signal is verified.

  • Patent number: 7933922
Abstract: Data is automatically retrieved from a DataBase 2 (DB2) database using a DB2 scripter module that is configured to automatically log on to the DB2 database, to automatically perform a query of the DB2 database, and to automatically extract from the DB2 database a dataset that results from the query. A dataset processor module is configured to convert the dataset into a text file, and to deliver the text file to a delivery site, for retrieval by the user. The DB2 scripter module can extract the dataset by printing the dataset to a DB2 virtual printer and/or by exporting the dataset to a File Transfer Protocol (FTP) site.

  • Patent number: 7509334
Abstract: The status of a plurality of service orders is summarized. A first data set that includes a plurality of records corresponding to service orders, such as requests for initiation of telephone or other communications services, is imported into a database application. At least one query or test may be executed on the first data set to generate a second data set that includes at least part of the first data set and one or more labels that have been appended to at least some of the plurality of records in the first data set. This second data may be imported into a spreadsheet application so that the spreadsheet application can automatically generate a summary of at least some of the data contained in the second data set.
