  • Publication number: 20220003078
Abstract: A system to clean well casing in a downhole well operation. The system comprises an inner collar having flow ports and an out collar having jet ports in fluid communication with the flow ports. The inner collar couples with a section of a tool string and the outer collar rotates about the inner collar in response to fluid flow through the tool string. The inner collar can include a sleeve. The sleeve can be moved from a first position to a second position causing the jet ports to be in fluid communication with the flow ports. The inner collar remains relatively stationary with respect to the rotation of the outer collar. In addition, the jet ports are angled in a way that a portion of force generated by the fluid flow through the jet ports induce rotation of the outer collar in the opposite direction of the fluid flow.

  • Publication number: 20210350089
Abstract: A portable radio may include a radio frequency (RF) transmitter, an RF receiver, and an audio input transducer. A controller may store command messages and speech messages, implement a stand-alone, speech recognition and text-to-speech (TTS) function for the stored command messages and stored speech messages. The controller may also control at least one of an RE transmitter and RF receiver of a remote radio based upon an input command matching one of the stored command messages using the audio input transducer and the stand-alone speech recognition and TTS function, and convert a speech message matching one of the stored speech messages into a text message. The RF transmitter may send the text message to the remote receiver.

  • Patent number: 11115434
Abstract: Computerized systems and methods for sharing identified cyber-threat information in a standardized and secure format. The sharing of cyber-threat information assists in preventing malicious actors from replicating successful cyber-attacks by informing potential targets of the methods employed by the malicious actors, and the defensive measures that those targets should to implement to prevent those methods from succeeding. By distributing cyber-threat information in a standardized format, the systems and methods enable participating entities to automatically analyze and implement defensive measures for cyber-threat information shared by any other participating entities. The systems and methods also permit an entity to control which threat information it shares and which other entities it shares it with in a secure manner in order to preserve that entity's security and reputation.

  • Patent number: 11079123
Abstract: A modular, cooling device for providing cool air to a body and/or an external environment comprises a first body portion combining a cooling medium and air passageways therethrough. The first body portion may be detached from second and third body portions and placed in a freezer to refreeze the cooling media, and reattached for further use. The second body portion may include a material that absorbs condensate that forms within the air passageways. The third body portion may include a fan for driving air into the cooling device, through the air passageways and out of the cooling device. When passing through the air passageways, a heat transfer is produced between the passing air and the cooling medium, cooling the passing air. The fan speed may be varied to adjust air flow.

  • Patent number: 10800586
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and apparatus for deterring pets or other animals from biting or chewing into medication containers. In some embodiments, the invention consists of two or more conductive metal sheets or strips in layers around the side of the container, which are wired to complete a circuit when pressed by the force of an animal's bite or touched by an animal's tongue. In some embodiments, the sheets or strips are spaced or held apart so that a normal human grip would not have sufficient force to complete the circuit. In some embodiments, the device slides onto the medication container with a friction fit, and is removable for use on future containers. In some embodiments, the circuit includes a battery-powered alarm to deter the animal. In other embodiments, the circuit delivers a mild electrical shock to the animal's mouth or tongue through the metal strips or sheets.
