  • Publication number: 20150062783
Abstract: An electrolytic capacitor capable of operating at 75 g or greater is provided having a case with a base and a lid, with a wound capacitor element positioned on its side, lengthwise along the bottom of the base and with the underside of the lid pressed against the length of the capacitor element, to frictionally engage the capacitor element. The case is provided with inwardly projecting surfaces, including a bulkhead at one end of the capacitor element and ridges on the lid, which function as barriers to restrict movement of the capacitor element within the case. A compartment is created at one end of the case, to allow space for terminals, which are embedded in a non-conductive support matrix.

  • Publication number: 20140372205
Abstract: A system may select and serve content items based on a view probability. The view probability may be determined using a view probability predictive model and one or more current viewability variables. Based on the determined view probability output by the view probability predictive model, a content item may be selected and served. A script may be included with or otherwise associated with the data output to effect presentation of the selected content item. The script outputs data indicative of whether the served content item is viewed on a display of a device. The script may output data indicating that the served content item is viewed when at least a predetermined percentage of the pixels of the served content item are within a viewable region for a period of time. A served content item may be determined to not have been viewed if a predetermined period of time elapses.

  • Publication number: 20140365604
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for providing supplemental content in relation to embedded media. In one implementation, a processing device receives a media request from a third-party platform to incorporate a first media item within the third-party platform. The processing device identifies one or more additional media items based on the media request. The processing device provides the first media item and one or more links to at least one of the one or more additional media items in relation to the third-party platform.

  • Publication number: 20140322269
Abstract: The invention relates to an engineered outer domain (eOD) of HIV gp120 and mutants thereof and methods of making and using the same. The mutant eODs may be advantageous for the elicitation of CD4-binding site (CD4bs)-directed broadly-neutralizing antibodies (bnAbs) and/or improve binding to mature VRC01 and/or improve binding to germline VRC01 and the germlines of other VH1-2 derived broadly-neutralizing antibodies. The mutant eODs may also include glycan-masking mutations on eOD. The present invention also includes fusions of eOD to various protein multimers to enhance immunogenicity as well as the design of cocktails of different eODs that represent the full diversity of HIV sequences within the VRC01 epitope and surroundings.

  • Patent number: 8863158
Abstract: Improvements to previous intents frameworks/platforms are provided. In particular, previous general-purpose data common to intents frameworks can be augmented with application-specific data, which can provide numerous benefits or advantages. For example, applications that implement an intent can be supplied with information that can be used by the implementing application to enhance the services associated with the implementing application.

  • Patent number: 8695589
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an inhaler assist device shaped and dimensioned for supporting a metered dose inhaler and an associated anti-static chamber in a manner allowing for assisted compression of the metered dose inhaler to dispense a dosage therefrom. The inhaler assist device includes an L-shaped housing assembly pivotally connected to a lever actuator. The housing assembly includes a planar base wall and lateral side walls extending from base wall, wherein the base wall and the lateral side walls create a cavity shaped and dimensioned for receipt of the metered dose inhaler and an anti-static chamber.

  • Publication number: 20140076239
Abstract: A bird feeder is provided having a seed reservoir with a side wall that has at least one seed access opening and an adjustable feed port assembly. The feed port assembly includes a base mounted to the side wall in a fixed relationship thereto and having a central opening in communication with the seed in the reservoir. Fitted to the base is a rotatable insert having a perch coupled thereto in fixed relationship so that the perch and insert rotate as a unit. The insert is rotatable between two positions, an upright position in which the perch is below the base central opening enabling birds to feed while standing on the perch, and an upside down position in which the perch is above the base central opening, requiring birds to hang upside down from the perch to feed.
