  • Patent number: 11942070
Abstract: A method, computer system, and a computer program product for speech synthesis is provided. The present invention may include generating one or more final voiceprints. The present invention may include generating one or more voice clones based on the one or more final voiceprints. The present invention may include classifying the one or more voice clones into a grouping using a language model, wherein the language model is trained using manually classified uncloned voice samples. The present invention may include identifying a cluster within the grouping, wherein the cluster is identified by determining a difference between corresponding vectors of the one or more voice clones below a similarity threshold. The present invention may include generating a new archetypal voice by blending the one or more voice clones of the cluster where the difference between the corresponding vectors is below the similarity threshold.

  • Publication number: 20200383443
Abstract: A cellphone carrying case apparatus for easy cellphone transport and protection while preventing misplacement includes a case body defining a storage cavity configured to securely receive a smartphone. A flap is coupled to a back wall and has an open position exposing an open top side and a closed position covering the open top side and overlapping a front wall. A first mating member is coupled to the front wall and a second mating member is coupled to an inner surface of the flap. The second member is selectively engageable with the first mating member. A third mating member is coupled to the back wall of the case body and a fourth mating member is coupled to an article of clothing. The fourth mating member is selectively engageable with the third mating member to secure the case body to the article of clothing.

  • Publication number: 20130137843
Abstract: Integral polymer grids, such as geogrids, are made by stretching and orienting a polypropylene starting sheet material having a defined pattern of holes or depressions in which the polypropylene is at least 50%, and preferably up to about 80%, beta crystals caused by adding a beta nucleating agent to the polypropylene, preferably in concentrations between about 10 ppm to about 100 ppm. Such beta nucleated polypropylene grids exhibit increased yield and break tensile strengths, increased 2% and 5% tensile strengths, increased modulus characteristics, increased torsional stiffness, increased impact strength, and increased grid junction strength. Methods for manufacturing the beta nucleated polypropylene mesh grids are disclosed, along with applications for stabilizing particulate material in civil engineering structures, and the like.

  • Publication number: 20130112636
Abstract: The Attachable Drawing Rack is a mobile phlebotomy-tool-storing-rack that can secure directly upon a bedrail instead of the standard method of storing needed items upon the bed, thus keeping all needed materials within convenient accessibility to the practitioner and without risk of misplacement or use-negating contact upon the patient. The accessible storage provided by the Attachable Drawing Rack also provides secure and protected placement of the vacuum tubes immediately following blood collection, preventing the risk of temporary misplacement as well as unintentional breakage.

  • Publication number: 20120094065
Abstract: Integral polypropylene oriented nets are made by stretching and orienting a polypropylene starting sheet material having a defined pattern of holes or depressions in which the polypropylene is at least 20%, and preferably up to about 80%, beta crystals caused by adding a beta nucleating agent to the polypropylene, preferably in concentrations between about 10 ppm to about 100 ppm. Such beta nucleated polypropylene nets exhibit increased yield and break tensile strengths, flexural stiffness, modulus characteristics, and crimping retention and resiliency over substantially identical oriented nets made from polypropylene without a beta nucleating agent added. A method for manufacturing the beta nucleated polypropylene oriented net is disclosed, along with a crimped beta nucleated polypropylene oriented net (16) and a sandwich mat product (10) for erosion control which includes the crimped beta nucleated polypropylene oriented net (16) as a layer therein.

  • Publication number: 20060053347
Abstract: A method for diagnosing problems with protection of a data source and recovery of the same. The method includes diagnosing a copy of data located at the storage location and diagnosing a temporal version of the copy of data. Based on the diagnosis it is determined whether an error or a warning was detected. If either were detected a response is provided with a suggested solution.

  • Publication number: 20060049965
Abstract: A method for providing debounce and jog control for a keyboard includes loading a first electronic storage register with a value indicative of a debounce period for the keyboard and loading a second electronic storage register with a value indicative of a jog period for the keyboard. The keyboard is scanned for a pressed key, and a signal indicative of the pressed key is debounced. The method further includes providing electronic signals for key status and jog and asserting an interrupt in accordance with the indicated debounce period and the indicated jog period while the debounced signal indicates the pressed key is down. Keys of the keyboard other than the pressed key are prevented from being scanned until the debounced signal indicates that the pressed key has come up.

  • Publication number: 20050120531
Abstract: A pipe joining tool including a mounting bracket for releasable attachment to a pipe. The mounting bracket has a U-shaped platform with an intermediate portion for engaging a pipe and a pair of slotted end portions extending from the opposite ends of the intermediate portion in a substantially parallel manner. A wedge slidably extends through the slots in the end portions for driving a pipe positioned within the U-shaped platform into tight engagement with the intermediate portion. A flexible link is secured to the mounting bracket and extends therefrom. A pipe fitting keeper is carried by the flexible link for releasably grasping a pipe fitting and suspending the pipe fitting adjacent the end of a pipe positioned within the U-shaped platform. A pair of spaced apart legs projects forwardly from the intermediate portion of the U-shaped platform. Each of the spaced apart legs has an internally threaded bore within which is positioned a bolt.

  • Patent number: 6229107
Abstract: A safety electrical receptacle is disclosed which eliminates the danger of accidental shock due to inserting a foreign object into the socket of the described device. The safety electrical receptacle body includes cavities and support structures for positioning rotating cams, fixed electrical sockets with integral electrical contacts and movable resilient spring loaded electrical busses with integral electrical contacts. The contacts remain open and electrically inactive when the receptacle is in the normal unused state with the resilient spring bus displacing the rear cam lobe and positioning the front cam lobe directly into the socket opening. When a plug or other object is inserted into the socket it displaces the front cam lobe and the rear cam lobe moves against the spring loaded electrical bus and closes the contact on the opposite socket.
