These motions are enhanced, through the addition of resistance. The resistance may be varied by adjusting the length of the cords and/or interchanging cords of different elastic strengths. The exercise device has cords and optionally a should and/or neck piece.

Abstract: A multi-level aerobic step device includes a base having a flat upper surface. A mounting block is detachably mounted to the base with the mounting block also having a flat upper surface. When the mounting block and base are mounted together a unit is formed having an exposed upper surface which comprises at least a portion of the upper surfaces of each of the mounting block and base wherein the exposed portion of the mounting block upper surface is at a different height elevation than the height of the exposed portion of the base.

Abstract: A combination exercise device includes a trampoline which has a peripheral frame and a resiliently mounted spring member secured to the frame with an upper surface upon which the user may jump. Feet are mounted to the frame for elevating the spring member. The exercise device also includes a step which has a horizontal rigid platform upon which the user may repeatedly step on and off in an aerobic exercise. The trampoline is selectively mounted with respect to the step so that the upper surface of the spring member of the trampoline is selectively disposed above the platform at a sufficient distance to permit the trampoline to be used while mounted over the spring member. In other stages of use the trampoline is removed from the step so that the step may be used in an exercise mode. Alternatively, the trampoline may be of a sufficiently small size that the step and trampoline could be permanently mounted together and both types of exercises could then be selectively performed.

Abstract: A resilient platform exercise device includes a trampoline having a peripheral frame with a platform secured to the frame by a plurality of spaced springs for resiliently mounting the platform. An upstanding pole assembly is mounted directly to the frame juxtaposed the platform. The pole assembly terminates in two spaced handles on opposite sides of the platform in alignment with each other. Each of the handles is pivotally mounted and is movable in opposition to resistance located at the pivotal mount.

Abstract: Improved cycling apparatus is provided wherein the improvement comprises at least one elastic band, one end of which is affixed to the cycling apparatus at a desired location, the other end of the elastic band providing resistive force against exertion upon the band by one extremity of a user of the cycling apparatus. In a preferred embodiment, the cycling apparatus includes two elastic bands, one end of each elastic band being affixed to the frame of the apparatus, the other end of each elastic band having handle gripping means affixed thereto for gripping by the hands of the user. The bands provide resistive force against exertion upon these bands by the arms and hands of the user of the apparatus, thereby providing simultaneous, vigorous exercise for the arms, hands and upper body, as well as for the legs and lower body.

Abstract: Hair rollers are heated and moistened by being exposed to steam. The invention involves incorporating a scent creating substance such as perfume in the liquid which is heated to create the steam so that the steam incorporates a scent which is thereby applied to the rollers.

Abstract: The device according to this invention combines two popular exercises which are rebounding, in which a user uses a trampoline or a spring board and boxing in which a user uses a punching bag and/or speed bag. In addition, the invention is drawn to a method of exercising comprising using the inventive device that comprises a combination of a rebounder and punching bag.

An elastic band is secured to the water balloon and anchored to the front end of the barrel in a stretched condition when the water balloon is mounted to the trigger mechanism whereby actuation of the trigger mechanism permits detachment of the water balloon from the trigger mechanism under the contracting influence of the elastic band to launch the water balloon out of the barrel.

Abstract: A multifunction exercise and aerobic bench includes an elongated support member having a head end and a foot end. Legs extend below each of the head end and foot ends to elevate the support member. Handles are secured to the support member at the head end and extend upwardly above the support member. The legs at the foot end are movably mounted so that the elevation of the foot end can be lower than the head end to selectively incline the support member. A bar is pivotally mounted at the foot end for moving in an arc.

Each propulsion mechanism includes a receiver and a drive unit. The drive unit causes the sphere to move when actuated by the receiver. A remote transmitter sends signals to the receiver for causing the actuation of the drive unit.

Abstract: A combination twister and stepper device includes a stepper unit and a twister unit in combination with a common frame. The stepper unit has a pair of side by side steps, each of which is biased upwardly. The twister includes a turntable or disk on a pivotal mount. The stepper and twister are secured to a frame which includes a pair of pivotal poles. The stepper and twister may be used simultaneously while also using the poles or the stepper and twister may be selectively inactivated so that only one of the units could be used.

Abstract: A modular step exercise unit includes a plurality of individual steps. Each step is in the form of a base having a horizontal platform which comprises the upper surface of the base with depending sides forming an apron which terminates in a plane parallel to the platform so that the apron can be placed directly on a support surface, such as a floor. The steps may be made of differing size so that during storage or even in certain use conditions, steps which are not being used can be stored within the periphery of the apron of the largest step. A multi-level step can be formed by mounting a smaller step on a larger step. The individual steps could be used abutting each other or spaced from each other to provide a multi-level arrangement which includes individual steps and the floor.

Abstract: A twister exercise device includes a support assembly having a support bar which would be mounted on the frame of a main exercise device, such as a treadmill frame. A hollow adjusting bar is exposed parallel to the support bar. A twister disc is rotatably mounted across the support bar and adjusting bar. A hook shaped locking member is telescoped into each end of the adjusting bar for being hooked over frames of various widths.
