  • Patent number: 4659075
Abstract: A device for the partial simulation of climbing includes a frame having a vertically adjustable step and an upstanding handle to permit the user to simulate climbing by stepping up and down the step. Continuous or full simulation of climbing is achieved by a device which has vertically movable steps so that the user may remain at one location while continuously going through the motions of stepping upward.

  • Patent number: 4648593
Abstract: An exercising device for the simulation of climbing includes a pair of side support units, each of which comprises a front leg and a back leg pivotally connected at their upper ends. The front and back legs of each pair are interconnected by a support member. A step in the form of a horizontal support platform is selectively engaged with the side support units at one of a plurality of different elevations so that the user may simulate climbing by repeatedly stepping up and down from the platform.

  • Patent number: 4643317
Abstract: A combination sports equipment storage rack and ball retriever includes a support member which is attached to a fixed surface. The support member includes a pair of wing portions to which sports equipment such as rackets may be mounted. A ball retriever is detachably mounted to the support member at a central portion between the wing portions. The ball retriever includes an elongated handle and a basket. The bottom wall of the basket is formed from spaced parallel resiliently mounted rod members for retrieving balls by pressing downwardly with the basket against the balls. When the ball retriever is attached to the support member, the basket may be used for storing other sports equipment such as cans of balls.
