Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present invention a fuel cell system comprises: (i) a plurality of fuel cell packets, each packet comprising at least one fuel inlet, at least one fuel outlet, a frame, and two multi-cell fuel cell devices, the fuel cell devices situated such that an anode side of one fuel cell device faces an anode side of another fuel cell device, and the two fuel cell devices, in combination, at least partially form a fuel chamber connected to the fuel inlet and the fuel outlet; (ii) a plurality of heat exchange packets, each packet comprising at least one oxidant inlet, at least one oxidant outlet, and an internal oxidant chamber connected to the at least one oxidant inlet and the least one oxidant outlet; the heat exchange packets being parallel to and interspersed between the fuel cell packets, such that the heat exchange packets face the fuel cell packets and form, at least in part, a plurality of cathode reaction chambers between the heat exchange packets and the fuel cell packets; (

The method includes sending compressed video data including a reference frame message to create a long term reference frame to a plurality of decoders at one or more destination points, receiving feedback from the decoders indicative of whether or not the decoders successfully received the reference frame message, and in the case that the received feedback is such that at least one of the decoders did not successfully receive the reference frame message or does not have the indicated recent frame, repeating sending a reference frame message to create the long term reference frame. Using the method can replaces I-frame error recovery with long term reference frames, even in the case where the reference frame management messages are lost to at least one decoder.

Abstract: A processor having multiple cores coordinates functions performed on the cores to automatically, dynamically and repeatedly reconfigure the cores for optimal performance based on characteristics of currently executing software. A core running a thread detects a multi-core characteristic of the thread and assigns one or more other cores to the thread to dynamically combine the cores into what functionally amounts to a common core for more efficient execution of the thread.

Abstract: A toilet includes a bowl with a receptacle to receive waste, with a secondary chamber, and with an opening in the receptacle to allow the waste to pass to the secondary chamber; a rinse pump that turns on to add an amount of rinsing water for cleaning the bowl; a flexible self cleaning gasket configured around the opening formed in the receptacle; a bowl valve that has a sealing part having a rounded shape, rotates to a closed position that creates a sealed effect between the sealing part and the gasket trapping the waste and rinsing water in the receptacle of the bowl and sealing odors in the secondary chamber, and also rotates to an open position that sweeps the sealing part to be swept across the gasket and allowing the waste to pass to the secondary chamber. The solenoid rotates the bowl valve between the closed to open positions.

Abstract: Image management applications allow users to upload, modify, organize, search, and/or share images. Unfortunately, current image management applications may have separate search modes and tagging modes. Accordingly, one or more systems and/or techniques for providing a user with a seamlessly integrated search, view, and/or tag experience are disclosed herein. Search results comprising tagged images and untagged images may be provided in response to a user search query. The untagged images may be contextually relevant to features of the tagged images and/or the user search query. Tagging suggestions for untagged images may be presented that allow a user to confirm or deny a tagging suggestion for an untagged image. Additionally, confirmable thumbnails corresponding to the untagged images may be presented. A confirmable thumbnail may allow a user to confirm or deny tagging a corresponding untagged image.

Abstract: Medical devices, systems, and methods reduce the distance between two points in tissue, often for treatment of congestive heart failure and often in a minimally invasive manner. An anchor is inserted along an insertion path through a first wall of the heart. An arm of the anchor is deployed and rotationally positioned according to a desired alignment. Application of tension to the anchor may draw the first and second walls of the heart into contact along a desired contour so as to effect a desired change in the geometry of the heart. Additional anchors may be inserted and aligned with the first anchor to close off a portion of a ventricle such that the ventricle is geometrically remodeled and disease progression is reversed, halted, and/or slowed.

Abstract: A highly parallel, asynchronous data flow processing system in which processing is represented by a directed graph model, can include processing nodes that generate, and process, groups of dependent messages and that process messages within such groups in order. Other messages can be processed in whatever order they are received by a processing node. To identify a group of dependent messages, message identifiers are applied to a message. Processing of a message may generate child messages. A child message is assigned a message identifier that incorporates the associated message identifier of the parent message. The message identifier of the parent message is annotated to indicate the number of related child messages. When a group of messages is to be processed by a processing node in order, the processing node maintains a buffer in which messages in the group are stored.

Abstract: Sheet registration method and system includes transporting a sheet including a leading edge and a trailing edge between a first and second sensor. The first and second sensors each have a linear sensing area with a longitudinal axis aligned at a non-zero angle to each other. The first and second sensors are adapted to identify positions of the leading edge and the trailing edge. An alignment of the sheet is adjusted responsive to a sheet length determined using the output from the first and second sensors.

Abstract: A computer system includes a computer chassis housing a processor and having a dust filter disposed in an airflow pathway through the computer chassis. A plurality of electrodes is disposed across an area of the dust filter, and a voltage source is provided having a negative terminal and a positive terminal. A controller selectively couples a first subset of electrodes to the negative terminal and selectively couples a second subset of electrodes to the positive terminal, wherein a voltage differential between the first subset of electrodes and the second subset of electrodes is sufficient to cause electrostatic movement of dust from an area of the dust filter near the first subset of electrodes to an area of the dust filter near the second subset of electrodes.

Different brackets can be used to attach the text input device to different types of game controllers. A game player holding the game controller can access the text keys of the text input device with his or her thumbs, and by making only minor (or no) adjustment to the position of his or her hands on the grip portions.

Abstract: A method and system for providing secure communication between a server and a remote client utilizing a polymorphic software platform. In various embodiments, the system provides mixed mode data entry, meaningless field entries and randomly generated false entries interpolated into the real entries for providing a secure system of communication such that a third party has no repeatable method of decoding the information transmitted.

Abstract: A method, apparatus, and a computer program product are disclosed for selectively activating a trace function in a computer program in response to a call of a predetermined trigger code element so that trace data is produced only for those subroutines that call the trigger code element or are called by the trigger code element. The computer program product provides one or more trace code elements for one or more selected subroutines of the computer program stored on internal memory of a digital computer. The trace code elements provide trace data for said selected subroutines. The computer program product also selects a subroutine as a trigger code element, processes the computer program, monitors the call stack for the trigger code element, and enables the trace code elements for each selected subroutine simultaneously present in the call stack if the trigger code element is identified in the call stack.

Abstract: A method and an eFuse circuit for implementing with enhanced eFuse blow operation without requiring a separate high current and high voltage supply to blow the eFuse, and a design structure on which the subject circuit resides are provided. The eFuse circuit includes an eFuse connected to a field effect transistor (FET) operatively controlled during a sense mode and a blow mode for sensing and blowing the eFuse. The eFuse circuit is placed over an independently voltage controlled silicon region. During a sense mode, the independently voltage controlled silicon region is grounded providing an increased threshold voltage of the FET. During a blow mode, the independently voltage controlled silicon region is charged to a voltage supply potential. The threshold voltage of the FET is reduced by the charged independently voltage controlled silicon region for providing enhanced FET blow function.

Abstract: Determining stability of a catheter is described. A first signal originating from a first region of a patient is monitored and a second signal originating from a second region of the patient is monitored. First components from a recurring interval of the second signal are extracted, where the recurring interval is defined by the first signal. The first components are compared to determine a first similarity value of the first components over time. The first similarity value is compared to a threshold value to determine a stability evaluation for a source of the second signal.

Abstract: A parallel-plate system collects data used to determine viscosity. A first plate is coupled to a translator so that the first plate can be moved along a first direction. A second plate has a pendulum device coupled thereto such that the second plate is suspended above and parallel to the first plate. The pendulum device constrains movement of the second plate to a second direction that is aligned with the first direction and is substantially parallel thereto. A force measuring device is coupled to the second plate for measuring force along the second direction caused by movement of the second plate.
