  • Publication number: 20200195490
Abstract: In an embodiment, a computing node includes a computing circuit, a comparing circuit, and an indicator circuit. The computing circuit is configured to receive each of at least one input-data message. The comparing circuit is configured to compare each of the at least one received input-data message to a list of input-data-message identifiers. And the indicator circuit is configured, for each of the at least one input-data message that corresponds to a respective input-data-message identifier, to generate a respective portion of a first status message, the respective portion indicating that the input-data message was received. For example, such computing node can determine the congruency of a received input-data message between coupled redundancy circuits with reduced processing overhead, reduced message delay, and reduced message latency as compared to existing computer nodes.

  • Patent number: 10616747
Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods for determining and managing the location of a calling device during an emergency call. A computing device at a data store establishes a connection with a computing device at a public safety access point (PSAP). The connection is established upon activation of an emergency function at a calling device coupled to the computing device at the PSAP via a first communications channel. The calling device is associated with a unique identifier. The computing device at the data store receives location data for the calling device, where the calling device streams the location data to the data store via a second communications channel upon activation of the emergency function. The computing device at the data store makes the location data for the calling device available to the computing device at the PSAP using the unique identifier.

  • Patent number: 10341494
Abstract: An approach to managing emergency response data for providing in response to an emergency call makes use of different management approaches depending on the source of the data. For example, data provided directly by the individual to whom the data refers may be handled in one way, while data provided indirectly by an entity or other individual may be handled in another way. Information provided indirectly may be validated and/or its source indicated when presented to an emergency responder.

  • Patent number: 10094908
Abstract: A geolocation system includes an originator device configured to transmit a first wireless signal to a transponder device. The transponder device is configured to transmit a second wireless signal to the originator device. The system includes at least one observer device configured to receive the first wireless signal from the originator device and receive the second wireless signal from the transponder device. The system also includes a first processor configured to calculate a transactional difference range at the at least one observer device based on the first wireless signal received at the observer device and the second wireless signal received at the observer device. A corrected transactional difference range value may be calculated by subtracting a time-of-flight of the first wireless signal from the originator device to the transponder device from the transactional difference range. A method of performing geolocation using a transactional difference range is also disclosed.
