Abstract: Various examples described herein are directed to systems and methods for managing an interface between a user and a user computing device. The user computing device may determine that an audio sensor in communication with the user computing device indicates a first command in a user voice of the user, where the first command instructs the user computing device to perform a first task. The user computing device may determine that the audio sensor also indicates a first ambient voice different than the user voice and match the first ambient voice to a first known voice. The user computing device may determine that a second computing device associated with the first known voice is within a threshold distance of the user computing device and select a first privacy level for the first task based at least in part on the first known voice.

  • Publication number: 20240211915
Abstract: A user interface of a terminal is enhanced to provide a screen depicting suggested items for purchasing by a customer before completing a transaction at the terminal. The suggested items can include items likely to have been forgotten by the customer based on the current basket of items in the transaction and/or items that are otherwise related to the current basket of items. Any suggested item selected by the customer for adding to the transaction is communicated to a server. The server maintains a data structure for transactions that require items to be picked up and current statuses for item picking transactions. Store-operated devices allow in-store pickers to select items that need to be picked from the store for the transactions identified in the data structure. When a picker acquires the items from store shelves, the items are delivered to a designated area of the store and the customer retrieves the items from that area.

The first current imparting an easy axis magnetic field component on an MJJ in a selected memory cell during a write operation. The second current inducing a third current in the selected memory cell that passes through the MJJ, the third current being a seed current for setting a ?-state current of the MJJ in a superconducting loop of the selected memory cell. The first current source is configured such that, during the write operation, the MJJ cell transitions: (i) from a ?-state, in which a clockwise or counter-clockwise current circulates in the superconducting loop, to a zero-state, in which no current circulates in the superconducting loop, back to the ?-state; or (ii) from the zero-state to the ?-state; or (iii) from the ?-state to the zero-state.

Abstract: Methods, devices and systems are disclosed for improved depth perception in stereoscopic night vision devices. Among these are embodiments for aligning information overlays in the stereo view with associated objects, and for generating stereo information from single lenses or intensifiers. In some illustrative embodiments, a camera and position sensor are provided for at least two viewers, e.g., a pilot and a copilot, such that when a scene overlaps between viewers, the system produces a stereoptic scene, in which the users can more accurately determine a difference in depth between two or more distant objects. An illustrative binocular night vision system uses a high-resolution depth map to present binocular images to a user. In some embodiments, supplementary content can be overlaid, with an appropriate binocular disparity that is based on the depth map.
