  • Patent number: 12023448
Abstract: A connection device allows connection of an anesthetic container (400) to an anesthetic vaporizer (300) in a fluid-tight manner. A port section (1000) of the anesthetic vaporizer can be detachably connected to an adapter (1100) of the port section. With the adapter connected to the port section, a vaporizer-side channel section and a container-side channel section together form a continuous channel for anesthetic. The area of the surface of the port section that points towards the adapter is formed by a vaporizer-side contact profile (K.1, K.8), and the area of the surface of the adapter that points towards the port section is formed by a container-side contact profile (K.25, 28, 31). One contact profile has a projection (1), and the other contact profile has a corresponding recess (25) that contact with one another without an intermediate space. The projection positive-lockingly meshes with the recess.

  • Patent number: 12024181
Abstract: A vehicular driving assist system includes a forward viewing camera, a forward sensing non-vision sensor, and an electronic control unit (ECU) disposed at a vehicle equipped with the vehicular driving assist system. Captured image data is transferred from the camera to the ECU and processed at the ECU and captured sensor data is transferred from the non-vision sensor to the ECU and processed at the ECU. An object forward of the equipped vehicle is detected via processing at the ECU of transferred image data and via processing at the ECU of transferred sensor data. The ECU determines a difference between detection of the object via processing at the ECU of transferred image data and detection of the object via processing at the ECU of transferred sensor data. The ECU disables at least part of a driving assist function based on the determined difference being greater than a threshold level.

  • Patent number: 12027145
Abstract: Computer-based systems, devices, and methods for generating musical compositions are described. A population of musical compositions stored in digital media are each segmented to produce abridged samples. The samples are analyzed to identify “parent” compositions that best exhibit or evoke a particular desired quality. The parent compositions are cross-bred to generate a set of child compositions which are similarly segmented and analyzed. The child compositions that best exhibit or evoke the particular desired quality are re-cast as parent compositions from which another generation of child compositions are bred. Mutations in the form of musical variations are inserted in at least some iterations and the process is repeated until at least one child composition that satisfies some exit criterion is returned.

  • Patent number: 12027746
Abstract: Disclosed are devices, system, and method for mitigating wind damage to satellite antennas and for reducing the amount of ballast required to secure the satellite antennas. The device, system, and method include a mast on which an antenna may be affixed, a pivot gear capable of rotating between two or more positions, and a tension force or retention force on the pivot gear. A load force applied to the antenna creates a risk of damage proportional to the load force. The antenna system is capable of transitioning from a first orientation into a second orientation when the load force exceeds tension force or retention force, or the sum thereof, such that the antenna system experiences a reduced load force and therefore a reduced risk of damage. The device, system, and method also reduce the amount of ballast required to secure a non-penetrating antenna installation against tipping or sliding.
