  • Publication number: 20200358264
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a fuse bank design for a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system. The disclosed stair-step design enables the positioning of electrical components of the fuse bank in a non-vertically aligned manner, which blocks the accumulation of heat in the upper electrical components as a result of convection heating from the lower components of the fuse bank during operation of the HVAC system. For example, a fuse bank is disclosed for an HVAC system that includes: a mounting surface; a first fuse block including a first fuse holder coupled to the mounting surface; a spacer coupled to the mounting surface vertically below the first fuse block; and a second fuse block including a second fuse holder coupled to the spacer, wherein the spacer offsets the second fuse block from the mounting surface of the fuse bank in a stair-step arrangement.

  • Patent number: 10827968
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, system, and program product for event detection and/or notification of events occurring. A user monitoring system sends messages based on determinations of impacts associated with the user. The monitoring system receives data from at least one computing device affixed to a user. The data corresponds to a pattern of movement of the user. The monitoring system determines that the user is performing an activity that has an associated known pattern of impacts. The system generates a customized pattern of impacts for the activity by modifying the known pattern of impacts based on the pattern of movement of the user. The system generates a message based on a comparison of measured movement data of the user and the customized pattern of impacts.

  • Patent number: 10832791
Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure are drawn to apparatuses and methods for soft post-package repair (SPPR). After packaging, it may be necessary to perform post-package repair operations on rows of the memory. During a scan mode of an SPPR operation, addresses provided by a fuse bank may be examined to determine if they are open addresses or if the bad row of memory is a redundant row of memory. The open addresses and the bad redundant addresses may be stored in volatile storage elements, such as in latch circuits. During a soft send mode of a SPPR operation, the address previously associated with the bad row of memory may be associated with the open address instead, and the address of the bad redundant row may be disabled.
