  • Publication number: 20230400832
Abstract: A method for recording mass production work cycles of a facility. The facility having a machine and a replaceable mass production tool which is secured to the machine and is moved by the machine. According to the method, number sequences are formed that indicate how many cycles have been carried out by a specific tool in cooperation with a specific machine. The required detection of the cooperation of the particular tool with the particular machine is carried out on the basis of a comparison between the time curves of the values of two measured physical variables, wherein one physical variable is measured on the tool, and the second physical variable is measured on the machine, the two physical variables being such that the values thereof change cyclically with the rhythm of the work cycle carried out by the tool and the machine together.

  • Patent number: 11518420
Abstract: A running gear for a rail vehicle includes one or more wheel sets, each having a revolution axis and each being guided by a pair of transversally spaced axle boxes. The running gear further includes a running gear frame, a primary suspension assembly between each of the axle boxes and the running gear frame, and a secondary suspension stage for supporting a vehicle superstructure on the running gear frame. Each primary suspension assembly has at least a main spring assembly having a vertical stiffness and a horizontal stiffness that is identical in a transverse direction of the running gear frame and in a longitudinal direction of the running gear frame perpendicular to the transverse direction. The primary suspension assembly further has an anisotropic interface assembly in series with the main spring assembly between the running gear frame and the axle box.

  • Patent number: 11140875
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for automatically locating an animal by means of radio waves and a plurality of nodes, wherein the animal is located on a ground and is equipped with a node of the radio locating system to be located and with one or more acceleration sensors. By evaluating the measurement results of the acceleration sensors, a conclusion is drawn about which activity the animal is presently performing and at which height above the ground the node is located. The calculation of the position of the node to be located from the measurement results of the radio locating system is influenced by the assumption of said height as a constraint.

  • Patent number: 11035924
Abstract: A method for locating an animal using radio waves. In radiolocation, a large number of possible calculation results for the location of the animal arise. Using the results of previous measurements and calculations with regard to the possible locations of the node to be located, stochastic calculations are used to filter out, from the plurality of the current location calculation results, that result which in fact applies with the highest probability. Acceleration values which are measured at the animal are used in the stochastic calculations. It is assumed that with increasing measured acceleration values the probability increases that there can also be relatively large distances between temporally successive locations of the node to be located.

  • Patent number: 11013216
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for obtaining information about a farm animal, wherein a device (a) is attached to the head region of an animal, said device containing at least one acceleration sensor by means of which recurring acceleration data is measured, wherein the acceleration data is evaluated using automatic data processing means, and, as an outcome of the evaluation, is indicative of the activities and/or conditions of the animal. The acquired acceleration data is evaluated in order to detect the swallowing processes carried out by the animal.

  • Patent number: 10918081
Abstract: The invention relates to an animal ear tag that comprises a spike (1) and two outer parts (2, 3), which come to rest on opposite sides of the animal's ear, wherein the spike (1) has a plurality of parts (5, 6, 7), made of a relatively hard material and arranged one behind the other in the longitudinal direction of the spike (1), and another part made of an elastically softer material and extending, in the longitudinal direction of the spike (1), along a plurality of the parts (5, 6, 7) made of a relatively hard material, connecting the same. The parts (5, 6, 7) that are made of a relatively hard material are stacked on one another. The part that is made of an elastically softer material is a sheath (8), which encases a plurality of the stacked parts (5, 6, 7) made of a relatively hard material, on the lateral surface of the stack that is formed by said parts.
