  • Publication number: 20050103223
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for active radial control of the wheels (11, 53, 103, 108, 115) of at last one wheel unit (8, 9, 10, 51, 52) on a chassis, in particular a bogie on a tracked vehicle, whereby control movements are applied to the wheel unit (8, 9, 10, 51, 52) and an integrated regulation with control movements in at least two non-identical frequency ranges are carried out. First control movements in a first frequency range and second control movements in a second frequency range, different form the first frequency range are superimposed and applied to the wheel unit (8, 9, 10, 51, 52). The invention also relates to a device for carrying out said method.

  • Publication number: 20040149162
Abstract: The invention relates to a self-steering, three-axle bogie, in particular for a rail vehicle, comprising wheel sets (8, 9, 10) and wheel set bearing housings (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) allocated to said sets. According to the invention, the outer wheel sets (8, 10) are counter-coupled and can be displaced in a longitudinal direction and the central wheel set (9) can be displaced in a transverse direction and is included in the control system. The wheel set bearing housings (2, 4, 6) on one side of the running gear and/or the wheel set bearing housings (3, 5, 7) on the other side of the running gear are coupled exclusively to the wheel set bearing housings (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) lying on the same side and neighbouring wheel set bearing housings (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) are coupled to a first rotary lever (14, 26) that is connected so that it can rotate to the corresponding wheel set bearing housing (4, 5) of the central wheel set (9), by means of a steering linkage-rotary lever configuration.

  • Patent number: 6533342
Abstract: An actuating arrangement for opening and closing a hinged motor vehicle panel has a fluid drive, a control unit, and a sensor unit. The hinged motor vehicle panel is movable between a starting position and an end position, and the control unit evaluates start signals from the sensor unit and stopping the movement of the motor vehicle panel in an intermediate position. The start signals from the sensor unit correspond to current angles of opening of the hinged motor vehicle panel, and predetermined angles of opening of the hinged motor vehicle panel define certain criteria. It is possible to set at least the angle of opening of the intermediate position via the control unit.

  • Patent number: 5533776
Abstract: The sun visor has a sun-visor body which is swingable around and longitudinally displaceable on a shaft. A detent device prevents unintended axial displacement. There are two contact springs which are insulated from each other and are connected with electric wires leading to an illuminating device arranged in the sun-visor body. One of the contact springs snaps into an indentation on the contact sleeve and the other one snaps into an indentation in the shaft. The shaft (connected at one end to the contact sleeve), consists of a metal tube serving as ground connector through which an electric conductor is conducted. The contact sleeve is by an insulating sleeve. The detent device serves not only for the detent engagement of the sun-visor body but also to supply current to the illuminating device.

  • Patent number: 5438932
Abstract: A railborne vehicle has at least two wheelsets. A running gear includes compensating levers for coupling the at least two wheelsets and includes wheelset bearings/axle bearing housings. Guide rod configurations are disposed between the wheelset bearings/axle bearing housings and the compensating levers for radial adjustability. At least one damping element is disposed between one of the compensating levers and one of the guide rod configurations.

  • Patent number: 5421269
Abstract: A railborne vehicle includes a truck with two sides and double-axle truck frames, wheelsets with wheels on each side of the truck, wheelset bearing/axle bearing housings for the two wheels of each side, and wheelset guide rods and compensating levers connecting the wheelset bearing/axle bearing housings of the two wheels of each side to one another. A radially adjustable running gear for the railborne vehicle includes a horizontally displaceable but vertically rigid wrist point longitudinally displaceably securing the wheelset guide rod to the truck frame. A connecting guide rod is connected between the wheelset guide rod and the compensating lever. Respective articulation points connect the connecting guide rod to the wheelset guide rod and the compensating lever.

  • Patent number: 5263420
Abstract: A running gear for rail vehicles includes a bogey, truck or vehicle frame. Three driven wheelsets are elastically supported in the frame. Longitudinal guide rods extend parallel to the longitudinal center of the vehicle for coupling rotary motions about vertical axes of the first and third wheelsets with a transverse motion of the second wheelset upon traversing curves. Each of the guide rods have first ends being pivotably secured to a bearing housing of a respective one of the first and third wheelsets and second ends pointing away from the respective bearing housing and toward the second wheelset. Bell cranks are supported on the outside of the frame and have two diagonally opposed pairs of arms pointing toward the longitudinal center of the vehicle and two diagonally opposed pairs of arms pointing toward the second wheelset. The second ends of the connecting rods are each pivotably secured to a respective one of the arms pointing toward the longitudinal center of the vehicle.
