Abstract: A synergistic arthropodicidal composition comprising (a) a benzodioxole derivative of the formula ##STR1## in which R represents alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, aryl or aralkyl, plus (b) at least one compound selected from (A) carbamates, (B) carboxylic acid esters, (C) phosphoric and phosphonic acid esters and (D) halogenoalkanes, and its use in combating arthropods.

Abstract: O-alkyl-O-[1,5-disubstituted-1,2,4-triazolyl-(3)]-thiono-phosphoric (phosphonic) acid esters and ester-amides of the formula ##STR1## in which R is alkyl of 1 to 6 carbon atoms,R' is alkyl, alkoxy or alkylamino of 1 to 6 carbon atoms or phenyl,R" is alkyl or cyanoalkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms or alkenyl of 3 or 4 carbon atoms,R'" is alkyl or cyanoalkyl with 1 to 6 carbon atoms in the alkyl radical, andX is oxygen or sulfur,which possess insecticidal and acaricidal properties.

Abstract: O-Alkyl-O-[2-substituted-6-alkoxy-pyrimidin(4)yl]-thionophosphonic acid esters of the formula ##STR1## in which R and R.sup.3 each independently is alkyl,R.sup.1 is phenyl or alkyl, andR.sup.2 is alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio or dialkylaminowhich possess arthropodicidal properties.

Abstract: 3-Phenoxy-fluoro-benzyl carboxylic acid esters of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.2 is hydrogen, cyano or ethynyl,R.sup.3 is ##STR2## R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 represent chlorine, bromine or methyl, and R.sup.6 is phenyl or phenyl substituted with halogen, alkyl with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, alkoxy with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, nitro or methylenedioxy,which possess arthropodicidal properties. The alcohols are also new.

Abstract: Sulfonic acid-N'-methylamide-N'-sulfenyl-N-methyl-carbamic acid esters of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 is dialkylamino with 1-4 carbon atoms in each alkyl group, phenyl substituted in the o- or m-position by halogen or by alkyl with 1-4 carbon atoms, or phenyl substituted in the o-, m- or p-position by NO.sub.2, CF.sub.3 or CN, andR.sup.2 is phenyl, naphthyl, benzodioxolanyl or indanyl; phenyl, naphthyl, benzodioxolanyl or indanyl substituted by trihalogenomethyl, halogen, nitro, cyano, formamidino, dioxanyl or dioxolanyl, or by alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, alkoxy, alkenoxy, alkynoxy, alkylmercapto, alkenylmercapto or dialkylamino wherein each hydrocarbon portion has 1-4 carbon atoms; cycloalkyl of 5-7 carbon atoms, or ##STR2## in which R .sup.3 and R.sup.4 each independently is cyano or alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio or alkoxycarbonyl with 1-4 carbon atoms in each alkyl group, or R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 together form a ring, or, provided that R.sup.1 is a NO.sub.2 -substituted phenyl, R.sup.3 and R.sup.

Abstract: An arthropodicidal composition containing, as active ingredients, an arthropodicidally effective amount of (1) at least one ferrocene derivative of the formula ##STR1## in which R and R.sup.1 each independently is hydrogen, an alkyl or alkenyl radical optionally substituted by alkoxycarbonyl, aralkyl, cyanoalkyl, nitrile, or ##STR2## R.sup.2 is hydrogen, optionally substituted alkyl, optionally substituted cycloalkyl, optionally substituted phenyl or alkoxy,R.sup.3 is hydrogen, alkyl, alkanoyl or a polyalkylene polyether group,R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 each independently is alkyl or together are an alkylene radical,X is oxygen, hydroxyimino or alkoxyimino and,Y is oxygen or sulphur,and (2) at least one compound selected from (A) carbamates, (B) carboxylic acid esters, including the natural and synthetic pyrethroids, (C) phosphoric acid esters, (D) cycloalkanes, (E) halogenoalkanes and (F) tin compounds.

Abstract: Fluorine substituted phenoxybenzylcarbonyl derivatives of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 represents hydrogen, cyano or ethynyl andR.sup.2 represents the radical ##STR2## wherein R.sup.3 and R.sup.4, which are identical, each represent chlorine, bromine or methyl, orR.sup.2 represents the radical ##STR3## wherein R.sup.5 represents a phenyl ring which optionally carries one or more substituents each selected independently from halogen, alkyl, alkylthio and alkoxy each with 1-4 carbon atoms, nitro and methylenedioxy,which possess arthropodicidal properties. The benzyl alcohol components of these esters are also new.

Abstract: 5-(3,4-Methylenedioxybenzyl)-dioxolanes of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each independently is H, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl and aryl, or together are an alkylene radical,which possess arthropodicidal properties, and which form synergistic compositions with carbamates, carboxylic acid esters, phosphoric and phosphonic acid esters, cycloalkanes and halogenoalkanes.

Abstract: 2,2-Dimethyl-3-vinyl-cyclopropane carboxylic acid esters of halogenated benzyl alcohols of the formula ##STR1## in which each R independently represents F, Cl, Br or CH.sub.3and m and n each represent 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 subject to the sum of m+n being not more than 5,with the provisos that(i) when each R represents F or Br then m and n cannot both be 0,(ii) when each R represents Cl, then m represents 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4 and n represents 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5, and(iii) when each R represents CH.sub.3, then m represents 0 and n represents 5,which possess arthropodicidal properties.
