  • Publication number: 20200340523
Abstract: An axial needle bearing includes a sheave and a cage. The sheave includes a radially outer sheave section having a rolling body race, a connecting angled thrust rib, and a ring section which is connected to the thrust rib and axially offset with respect to the sheave section. The disc-like cage retains bearing needles in pockets rolling on the rolling body race. The cage is fixed in position axially by a plurality of retaining sections extending radially from the ring section over the thrust rib and engaging over the cage, beneath each of which retaining sections a recess is provided in the sheave. The recesses beneath the retaining sections have a U-contour as they are worked into the sheave and are designed to extend with the web of the U-contour into the sheave section and with the ends of the U-contour into the ring section.

  • Patent number: 10077832
Abstract: A planet gear bearing in a planetary gearset including a planet carrier having two side walls which are arranged parallel to one another and accommodate a plurality of planet gear pins in a plurality of axial holes opposite one another on the same axis is disclosed. A plurality of planet gears are rotatably mounted on the planet gear pins by radial rolling-element bearings inserted into central planet gear holes. Stop elements are arranged between the side walls of the planet carrier and the axial sides of the planet gears and act as wear protection of the planet carrier and the planet gears, and as an axial stop for the radial rolling-element bearings of the planet gears. The stop elements are axial needle bearings, which each include an axial bent-up disc and an axial needle ring formed by a plurality of bearing needles and an axial needle cage.

  • Patent number: 9145916
Abstract: An axial roller bearing, in particular an axial needle bearing, having a first annular bearing disk and a second annular bearing disk that are each made of a thin-walled sheet steel and are arranged at a distance from one another on a common center axis, and a plurality of rolling elements, arranged next to one another, that roll between the axial inner sides—implemented as races—of the two bearing disks and that are held at uniform distances from one another by a bearing cage. The bearing disks are implemented as disk springs that deflect as a function of load and have races positioned at an angle, and are arranged relative to one another such that the rolling elements have low-friction point contact in the unloaded state of the axial roller bearing and only have load-bearing line contact with the races in the fully loaded state.
