  • Patent number: 7237604
Abstract: A plate heat exchanger comprising a plurality of plates (12,13) which are stacked against each other and which are of a first and second type in order to form flow channels for a first and second medium. The plates form a heat exchanger block (2) with an upper side and a lower side and with two opposite side surfaces (10) and front faces (9). The first flow channels are peripherally sealed for the first medium and are fluidically connected to distributor and collector channels which are arranged in a vertical position with respect to the plate plane and which lead into inlet and outlet connection pieces (6,7) which are respectively arranged on the upper side and/or lower side (3,11). The second flow channels are open at the front surfaces (9) thereof and are sealed at the side surfaces (10) thereof. The open sides (9) form an inlet and outlet plane for the second medium.

  • Publication number: 20070137834
Abstract: The invention relates to a heat-exchanger device (99), in which a working medium (13) is conditioned by means of a heat-transfer medium (21). The conditioning process, which creates a desired working point, is achieved by an exchange of heat between the working medium (13) and the heat-transfer medium (21). Heat-transfer surfaces are configured in the heat-exchanger device (99), said surfaces enabling the exchange of heat in such a way that the two media (13, 21) remain separate from one another. According to the invention, said device is equipped with a chamber (10), into which the working medium (13) flows. The chamber (10) is penetrated or delimited by at least one conduit (20), which is traversed by the heat-transfer medium (21).

  • Publication number: 20070125514
Abstract: A device for climate control of a vehicle is provided which includes a coolant circuit in which coolant flows through a compressor, a condenser, and an evaporator; a heat transfer medium circuit in which heat transfer medium flows through a heat source and a heat exchanger; and a heat/cold reservoir in which the evaporator and the heat exchanger are located. The device provides an improved and comparatively economical approach to climate control in the area of a driver's bed in a motor vehicle interior by, at least in part, using multiple heating/cooling surfaces for a driver's bed and/or vehicle interior wall, which is integrated into the heat transfer medium circuit in a parallel relationship to each other such that the heat transfer medium can flow selectively through the heating/cooling surfaces, or the heat transfer medium which is conveyed by the heat source can flow through the heating/cooling surfaces.

  • Publication number: 20070083295
Abstract: The invention relates to a heating and air-conditioning system (10) for a motor vehicle, in particular a utility vehicle, in order to heat or cool the inside of a motor vehicle during a journey and when the motor vehicle is stationary. The inside of the motor vehicle is divided into a front region and a back region, which can be heated and cooled separately, and comprises a front system (12) which is used to heat and cool the front region during a journey of the motor vehicle, a rear system (14) which is used to heat and cool the rear region during a journey of the motor vehicle and a stationary system (16) which is used to heat and to cool at least the rear region when the motor vehicle is stationary. According to the invention, the stationary system is integrated into the rear system. The invention further relates to a method for heating and air-conditioning a motor vehicle by means of a heating and air-conditioning system (10).

  • Publication number: 20050244024
Abstract: For reducing the installation space necessary for an antenna in a hearing aid, the antenna is formed as an electrically conducting layer in the material of the housing or on the hearing device housing. In this way, the housing is used as a carrier material for the antenna and it is possible to dispense with the space that otherwise has to be provided for the antenna, such as on the printed circuit board.
