  • Publication number: 20080023257
Abstract: The invention relates to a steering system, in particular for a motor vehicle, comprising an electric motor (10) for boosting the steering effort and a steering column (11). In the steering effort boosting system known from the state of the art the electric motor together with a transmission transmits a torque to the steering column, the electric motor being arranged perpendicularly to the steering column. This arrangement has a relatively large space requirement. It is the object of the invention to save installation space in future. For this reason, according to the invention, the steering column (11) and the electric motor (10) are arranged parallel to or coaxial with one another.

  • Publication number: 20070256883
Abstract: A toothed belt gearing includes a toothed pulley including pulley teeth having a first configuration and a toothed belt including belt teeth having a second configuration. The belt teeth are meshable with the pulley teeth, the first configuration and the second configuration being different from one another and being selected so as to minimize air present in tooth spaces between meshed ones of the belt and pulley teeth as compared to other toothed belt and pulley combinations which share a substantially same tooth configuration, thereby reducing noise radiation resulting from a resonance behavior of the toothed belt normally present in the other toothed belt and pulley combinations.

  • Patent number: 7040090
Abstract: For a power assisted steering system for vehicles, in particular passenger cars, there is provided a hydraulic circuit with a servopump, a three-way flow regulator valve which is located at the junction between the pump and a servoactuator and has a measuring throttle, located in the inflow to the servoactuator, as a fixed throttle and an outflow throttle which is located in a bypass of the latter and which determines a variable throttle cross section by means of a piston which is charged alternately as a pressure compensator. The piston, which is charged via an active actuator element, changes the outflow throttle cross section as a function of the current applied in order to change the volume flow which passes via the measuring throttle.

  • Patent number: 6575657
Abstract: A device for fastening of attachment elements, such as mounting rails, mounting plates, deposit plates and the like on a frame leg of a switchgear cabinet rack, wherein the frame legs are designed symmetrically in relation to their cross-sectional diagonal line and are aligned with the latter with the diagonal line of the rack. On the inside of the frame legs oriented toward the interior of the rack, the frame legs form a fastening receiver with two fastening profile sides which are disposed vertically in respect to each other and extend parallel to the facing outsides of the switchgear cabinet rack. The frame legs form system fastening receivers in the form of square or rectangular openings and fastening bores and make transitions into additional profile sides having corresponding rows of fastening receivers, which extend perpendicular to the facing exteriors of the switchgear cabinet rack.

  • Patent number: 6544007
Abstract: Described is a radial piston pump with a pump housing (3), which has a plurality of cylinder bores (5) arrayed in star shape around a cam (4), for the reception of pistons (6) and possesses inlet (7) and outlet (8) when penetrate to each cylinder inner chamber (9) with a therein compressible working volume. In accord with the invention, each cylinder inner chamber (9) is provided with at least one relief opening, which connects the working volumes during a compression stroke of the piston (6) with a space of lesser pressure for the reduction of the pressure gradient and also thereby reducing the noise of the pump.

  • Patent number: 6533605
Abstract: A bottom plate fixing device for a switchgear cabinet, whereby an edge of at least one bottom plate is placed on a support flange of a bottom frame of the switchboard cabinet and is preloaded by at least one fastening clip. The clip has two parallel legs which are held on a connecting section, whereby the first leg engages behind the support flange of the bottom plate and the other leg holds a screw in a thread. The screw can be tightened against the edge of the bottom plate. The bottom plate and the bottom frame can be reliably placed on the same electrical level by supporting the first leg on the support flange by cutting and/or sharpening contact elements, and such that the screw is in electrically conductive contact with the edge of the bottom plate.

  • Patent number: 6533373
Abstract: A cable conduit for a switchgear cabinet, having a rack assembled from rack legs, at least a part of which have several profiled sides on an inside facing an interior, which extend at an angle with respect to each other and to a diagonal line of the rack and have a row of fastening receivers, wherein the cable conduit has a U-shaped profiled receiving section with a base leg and two lateral legs and can be closed by a cover section, which can be locked on the lateral legs. A dependable attachment of the cable conduit with an optimal cable reception space is achieved because the base leg of the profiled receiving section is matched to at least a portion of the contour defined by the profiled sides of the inside of a frame leg, or the profiled sides of the insides of two frame legs which are connected with each other, and can be connected with the profiled sides.

  • Patent number: 6508494
Abstract: A locking arrangement for a switchgear cabinet, having a lock and two locking bars, wherein the locking bars are displaced in opposite directions to each other when the lock is operated. A dependably operating locking arrangement can be produced if in end areas facing away from the lock, the locking bars are hingedly coupled to respective lever arms of a locking lever. The locking lever has a second lever arm which is coupled to the first lever arm in the area of a pivot hinge and has an inclined pad. The pivot axis of the pivot hinge is arranged at a distance with respect to a push direction of the associated locking bar.

  • Patent number: 6497437
Abstract: A slide rod locking system, especially for locking the door of a switchgear cabinet, having a handle which is coupled to a control element by a control mechanism. The handle can move around a pivotal axis running perpendicular to the plane of the cabinet door. The control element can move in a parallel position relative to the plane of the cabinet door as a result of the movement of the handle. The slide rod locking system transmits powerful locking forces and at the same time can have a low-height design structure by arranging a lever on an articulated joint of the handle at a distance from the pivotal axis. The lever enables the force introduced into the handle to be transmitted to the control element and can modify its angle position with respect to the handle when moved.
