  • Publication number: 20070262943
Abstract: An apparatus and method for driving a hold-type display panel, for example an LCD (liquid crystal display) panel, includes gate lines and data lines intersecting to form a matrix of pixels. An image is displayed corresponding to data signals applied to the data lines according to gate pulses applied to the gate lines. A signal controlling unit generates a gate control signal for selecting the gate lines and image data to be displayed. The signal controlling unit also generates predetermined dummy data during a dummy data display interval set within a blank interval of a vertical synchronization signal. A gate driving unit applies the gate pulses to the gate lines selected according to the gate control signal. A data driving unit generating the data signal corresponding to the image data and applies the data signals to corresponding data lines.

  • Publication number: 20060123811
Abstract: Disclosed herein are a multi-air conditioner and a group-unit control method thereof, wherein a plurality of indoor units can be controlled on a group basis. The method comprises the step of grouping the indoor units into a plurality of groups, the step of if an air conditioning operation condition of a specific one of the indoor units is changed, sending, by the specific indoor unit, the changed operation condition to all the other indoor units according to a predefined communication protocol, and the step of by each of the indoor units, receiving an air conditioning operation condition sent from a different one of the indoor units in the same group and performing an air conditioning operation based on the received operation condition. According to the invention, the plurality of indoor units can be more efficiently controlled on a group basis through inter-indoor unit data communication. Further, the group-unit control is not restricted by whether a controller is used or not.

  • Publication number: 20050146490
Abstract: Lines of a display device are scanning in an overlapping block-wise fashion. For example, gate lines of a display device are driven in an overlapping block-wise fashion. Gate lines may be driven where a block of gate lines are consecutively driven with the same polarity and the polarity inverted to drive a subsequent block of gate lines. The blocks of gate lines overlap in that a range of gate lines of a first block overlaps with a range of gate lines of a second block. Methods and systems for driving gate lines in an overlapping block-wise fashion are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20050034664
Abstract: An apparatus constructed with a plural of independent reactors for depositing thin films is provided. The apparatus includes a chamber consisting of a base plate, a chamber wall and a chamber cover. A plural of identical and independent reactors are mounted inside the chamber, and each reactor has two parts; a reactor lower body and a reactor upper body, where the reactor upper body is fixed to the chamber cover and the reactor lower body is fixed to the base plate and moves up and down, thereby the up position of the reactor lower body makes a contact with the reactor upper body and thus providing a vacuum-tight processing space. Since a plural of identical and independent reactors are used, the processing steps and conditions developed for a single substrate type of reactor can be used for multiple reactors with minor adjustments, by utilizing a relatively symmetrical process gas supply inlet tube and process gas inlet tube and process gas exhaust tube arrangements.
