The menu information may identify hierarchical menu items corresponding to at least two levels of a menu hierarchy associated with a first menu of the first application. The device may receive configuration information that controls a manner in which the hierarchical menu items are to be provided for display. The device may execute the first application to cause first information, associated with the first application, to be provided for display. The device may execute a second application that provides the hierarchical menu items for display. The second application may be different from the first application. The device may provide the hierarchical menu items for display concurrently, via a second menu overlaid on the first information associated with the first application, based on the configuration information and further based on executing the second application.

The server device may cause the user device to execute the corresponding instruction to function as a component in a combined display or in a combined sound outputting system having multiple user devices in addition to the user device.
